Dunnington Kebab in York

Mouldy cheese on pizzas . Order wrong several times . Ordered chilli poppers and given chicken poppers which are not even on menu they have chicken nuggets! All to a vegetarian! Stay away🤢

Overpriced for what you get and what you get is nasty and only worth binning.

Ordered some food for the 3rd time on Saturday as its been brilliant, and they accidentally sent the wrong dish. A quick phone call and this was rectified really quickly. Thankyou for super customer service, I appreciate this.

Actually one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I had the garlic base..with pepperoni, jalapeños, and pineapple .. (just love the contract with the spice and pineapple. Was absolutely delish!

We ordered for delivery food was cold on arrival, chips were like card board chilli sauce was like nothing I’ve ever tasted before 🤮 chicken parmigiana was burnt, garlic bread was hard but yet very chewy 🤷‍♀️ Charged £5.50 for delivery to wheldrake. A kebab chicken parmigiana 3 tins of pop and a small slice of cheese cake came to the pricely sum of £28.50…….. but we were blessed with a free inedible grace bread. I most definitely will not be ordering again. If no stars were an option that is where I’d be

I’m from Manchester staying local to this place for a week,I’d of sent it back if I was given this food in Manchester absolute rubbish

Just been to get donner wrap. I waited for 5mins for them to prepare even though it said it was ready online. Got it home (1min away) and the salad was warmer that the donner meat. If I get food poisoning I'm not gonna be happy.

Been in a couple of times when I'm in York for work. About 15-20 minutes before it "closes" at 11pm, both times I have been told it's closed. Why advertise that closing time is 11pm. Would have got my dinner elsewhere. Have to wait for breakfast now

Fantastic takeaway. Our go to place for a takeaway, quality is always good and consistent as is the service, which is not always the case with some takeaways. Would recommend the chicken kebabs and burgers!!

Nipped in for a quick snack kebab meat n mayo, not only was it cold, bland and a waste of money, never again

Manager very rude to staff and customers. Very long waiting time even tho told my order would be ready to collect in 10mins (ended up being 40mins) won't be using again.

Never had a meal we didn't like from this takeout. Good quality, competitively priced chow.

We ordered 5 pizzas, 2 chips and a kebab. We received 1.5 pizzas, chips and kebab 1.5 hours after we ordered. We called to understand where the rest of our order was and the owner kindly hung up on us and wouldn’t answer our follow up calls. We spent/ wasted a total of £43.80. We will not be using this establishment again.

Very disappointed with my garlic cheese bread. Wheres the cheese... Really tough.

Always great kebabs and pizza's

Had two chicken kebabs and are always the salad and sauces are always super fresh .. loved it!

This is the 3rd time we have ordered and things not been great...normally the food has always been good. The last twice we rec'd the wrong type of burger & all 3 times we have requested extra chip spice on the chips but on all 3 occasions there was no chip spice at all. Very disappointed

Just had my first disappointing experience. Not sure who was on prep last night but the food wasn't great. My hot veggie pizza was basically black olives & jalapeños, everything else appeared to be missing & the cheeseburger ordered had a teaspoon of cheese in it & literally nothing else. Normally enjoy the food from here but it's been a few months since we had a takeaway, this was a treat but turned out to be just something to fill a hole.

Yes it is relatively OK and see it can be an issue to talk to customers over the phone to place orders for delivery and so do all orders on screen smartphone or tablet is the option there is left it was alright to do and did get a knock on door with burgers

A month or two ago I would have rated this takeaway 5/5 but considering the last few times ordering, the quality has plummeted. The garlic bread is always cardboard ring, and I’m sure the police would class it as a lethal weapon. The chicken bbq pizza, more like bbq rubber-band pizza with bleach tasting peppers.

Very nice food but advertising that you close early hours but shut at 10 or 11pm isn't good enough

We stayed on the nearby camping pod site and came here, to get our tea. Only on street parking available. Card payments only but there is a cash machine, in the nearby supermarket. Pizza was nice but not as good as our local, at home

This is my favourite takeaway of this nature. A lot of the menu is similar to what you would expect, however there appears to be a Kurdish influence here which adds something unique that you can't get anywhere else in York. If I'm ever in need of a quick bite to eat this is always my first port of call.

Delicious pizza, especially the Kiev. Lovely friendly staff and delivery with a smile!
