The only thing you need to be aware of when visiting Memory Lane Tea Room is that it is a cash only establishment.
We hmmade a no hassle booking over the telephone for four adults and one infant.
We received a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival. Our drinks orders were taken and by the time we had chosen our meals they has been served to us at the table.
A very good menu is available. Just when we thought " yes, I'll have that" something else just as appealing caught your eye, then something else, then something else.
The food itself did not disappoint. Generous portions at very reasonable prices. Everyone of us commented on how tasty the food was.
Four adult mains and desserts with drinks and a child's tray £53.35. Far less than we expected. Worthy of another visit in the not too distant future.
This is a very lovely shop. The gentleman that serves me is always so friendly. I adore his shop , its so quirky and makes me smile when ever i visit.
He kept going during covid and it was lovely to keep being a customer.
I do have a few negative comments. I hope this will help to increase his customers. CHIPS!. They are not very good. I think this is because they are not very well cut. They are all sorts or shapes and sizes so you get under cooked and over cooked. Very often they are obviously reheated. They just seem to be randomly cut. The mushy peas are a 50/50 gamble. When they are good they are SUPERB ! but often too much vinegar is added.
I hope he takes this as a suggestion rather than a negative. I will continue to be a regular customer and wish him well,

Nice clear labelling of menu with vegan options 👍🏽
We really enjoyed the vegan 🌱 frenchie 🇫🇷 poutine it was delicious 😋
But the kimchi fritters were a little unexpected like huge onion bhajis and 4 per portion was bigger than my main and not quite for me 😂
the cherry pies was little battered gyoza?🥟 not really a pie with pastry but just filling…battered & fried it seemed?
but interesting to try it out at 50% off at least 👍🏽
nice ice cream and sprinkles
a vegan chocolate or biscoff sundae if available would be my choice
if having dessert here again
but i really liked the place & atmosphere not too loud & nice dim lighting 🕯️
too would come bk for poutine or non alcoholic drinks & games 🙂 🎯
My abode for my latest Sheffield visit, during this week, was again The Crow Inn, 33 Scotland Street S3 7BS, which reopened 5 years ago after quite a few years closure, and has 7 en suite bedrooms. Comfortable bed, clean and airy room.
Sadly, no breakfast provided, but there are some very interesting bar snacks. Importantly, it also sells quite a few interesting ales and crafty keg beers! Open Mon-Wednesday 3pm to 12 midnight; Thurs-Saturday 12 noon to 1am; Sunday 12 noon to 11pm.
Friendly and efficient staff.
Mi hija iba y me preguntó si queríamos unirnos a ellos. ¡Qué bueno que lo hicimos! Qué lugar tan fantástico. Gran servicio y excelente comida. Sin duda volveremos.
The food and drinks in this charming cafe are delicious. The focaccia sandwichs are yummy and their selection of cakes and sausage rolls are inspired. I had a Christmas spiced blondie ....scrumptious.
First time visiting, for my mum’s surprise birthday party. The young lady serving us was amazing and kept up with an order for 20 of us. .
Food was delicious and hot, all cooked fresh. Everyone was very happy with the food.
Would go again.
Came here as I’m already a fan of there sushi from their takeaway. It’s a little tricky to find as they share the building with another restaurant, and occupy the lower floor, so you have to walk down the stairs if you’ve entered the top entrance, otherwise they have a back entrance direct into their venue.
We were very impressed with the service, presentation and range of delicious Japanese food. The Tapas menu was a winner with my wife who got to try a few different things, while for myself, the char siu ramen very tasty and extremely moorish.
All in all, can’t wait to return!
No tanto ahora. . como los rellenos eran menos de lo habitual haciendo que no tengan tan buena relación calidad-precio
Espero que haya sido un hecho único y lo intentaremos de nuevo
