The best restaurants in Wath Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

Had a really nice Madras here last night.

My wife & I have been to this Inn quite a few times now & have enjoyed each of the meals we have had so far -the only improvement I would recommend for us to give it a 5 star rating is that the interior decor be brightened up as it looks quite dull and outdated when you are sat eating

No the best at all. Order on mother day due to having surgery and my daughter wanted to treat me to lunch. I was was so disappointed that the food was cold was over 45 min late and missing items which did arrive 30 mins after. I have tried to get a refund with justbeat which as had no help. I am sad that this has happen especially my daughter having paid her self. £30 for 2 Sunday lunch is way to expensive 😫 I really wanted it to be nice seem like a lovely place when I looked. Really disappointed most of all disappointed i cant get refund . To not even be contacted to explain is also not the best. When I phone to asked where my food was due to been late ladies said" Oh yeah we just found it its in kitchen" no sorry we get in stright out to you.

Ordered spare ribs in black bean sauce received spare ribs in sweet and sour sauce. Wouldn’t mind but I’m not a fan of sweet and sour. Didn’t even bother ringing to complain I’ve read other reviews about not being arsed with wrong orders. Won’t bother again 🤷‍♂️

Went in tonight ordered 2 very curries and 1 fried rice beef was very tough and chewy curry sauce bland and rice not cooked enough will never go again very dissatisfied overall 😑

Ordered an Everest special kebab on a garlic cheese naan and it’s hands down the best kebab i’ve ever had. got a chicken tikka starter too and it was so tender and well seasoned. Genuinely the best takeaway in wath.

Food fast fresh and tasty. My Chinese of choice now.

First time trying hoggies today and I'll certainly be back... the staff were very polite and helpful, the food was 10 out of 10

Called yesterday the food was spot on the service was spot on. But it’s the best pint of john smiths bitter I’ve had In a very long time.

Can't go wrong with a pint of Abbotts for £1.59, on a Wednesday.

Ordered a 2 ft long, guy didn’t listen to order. Picked up within 10mins, chips hard, bread hard, everything was cold on it, hardly any salad. Got it on recommendation but wish I didn’t bother. Only bonus is there was plenty on it.

Genuinely the worst Customer service and experience I have ever had.

Visited today a usual Saturday morning, the member of staffs manner who was serving us was disgusting, he tuttered when I asked for something extra as if it was too much trouble, we asked for a poached egg on the breakfast which was that hard when it finally came you could have bounced it off the wall, the hash browns were clearly cooked in the same fryer as the fish, what if someone has an allergy to fish the same member of staff brought the breakfast but no cutlery, we had to go and ask for some, he was very abrupt with a lady and a small baby as she had left her trolley while she got the baby settled. Over all a very disappointing visit. I think the staff need to have lessons in good practice and manners.

Ate in here a couple of times and food at Greggs is always good and don’t usually rate chains but staff at this one were really good and spent a lot of time helping a group of people with learning difficulties ( sorry if not pc correct) with their selections before us which frustrated a few customers behind us but I just watched and though good on you. Would have got five stars but my colleague had to keep getting up to close door which people kept leaving open due to faulty door closer. Please get door sorted

Took over an hour for collection but really nice.
