Tesco Cafe in Rotherham

Visited today a usual Saturday morning, the member of staffs manner who was serving us was disgusting, he tuttered when I asked for something extra as if it was too much trouble, we asked for a poached egg on the breakfast which was that hard when it finally came you could have bounced it off the wall, the hash browns were clearly cooked in the same fryer as the fish, what if someone has an allergy to fish the same member of staff brought the breakfast but no cutlery, we had to go and ask for some, he was very abrupt with a lady and a small baby as she had left her trolley while she got the baby settled. Over all a very disappointing visit. I think the staff need to have lessons in good practice and manners.

I have been coming to Tesco cafe for the last 2 yrs for my breakfast at least 3 times a week we can’t fault the staff especially Racheal and Tom as soon as they see us they know what we want and we have never had any issues they are friendly polite and make you feel very welcome I would Tesco cafe at wath to all friends and family

Adam 222 are you sure you were in the Tesco Cafe at Wath.This really comes across as a bitter and twisted verbal attack on the Manageress.This is totally unwarranted.I have used this cafe for many years and I find her pleasant and helpful.She cares about her cafe,I'm sure .Some of the staff have worked there a long time ,so must be OK working with her.Whoever you are you really are a nasty person.

This is a shout out to adam222 not sure which cafe your referring to but I have worked there many years and feel this is a vindictive personal attack on my manager this is totally untrue and not a reflection on the manager or the cafe

The manager I believe her name is Rachel is rude, out of touch and horrible to customers and staff. I've been coming here for a couple of years on and off and every time i'm greeted with a hideous look up and down if she sees me. I've heard from previous and current staff members that she is inconsiderate and shocking to work for. 'The work environment is toxic and unfair, she only cares about herself'. On a more lighter note the rest of the staff are good at their jobs and are clearly trying to make it somewhat of a decent experience.

Tom needs customer service training 😑. Called in last week. Placed my order, and asked him if he could help me by carrying my tray to my table as I have just had shoulder surgery. His reply "it's a good job we're not busy as you would have to ask someone else ". Not good 😐

Usually visit on a Sunday morning. Breakfast options available as well as some pastries or cakes. Coffee has been decent. Seats available. Toilets were clean when visited. Not usually a big wait and no complaints. Staff usually friendly.

Excellent I had a breakfast at cafe today and really enjoyed it. 5 stars and more for me. Big shout out to cashier who served me I believe his name was Thomas he has great customer service skills.
