McDonald's in Rotherham

The last 4 orders they’ve sent have been cold or wrong. I’ve an extreme dairy allergy and twice I’ve asked for no cheese and my meal has turned up with cheese on. This obviously spoils the meal for me

I ordered via the app, and received my order wrong. I immediately called the UBER driver, and he said it wasn't his problem but MC's. I got in the car and went to the store and said that my order was wrong, and I asked for the correct one and asked for my delivery money back, and they told me that the problem was the UBER driver. Thank you Mc and Uber for your incompetence. Making money like this is easy!!!

I ordered a cheeseburger with extra cheese and no onions, when i got the order I got 2 cheese burgers with no cucumber extra ketchup no cheese and no meat

Got to be the worse McDonald's I have ever been to, food is over cooked or burnt, hot drinks are under filled and cold, complaints are met with rudeness and unhelpfulness, staff stand around chatting to each other while customers are waiting and tables are left full of rubbish

Absolutely diabolical place. Our local McDonald’s so ordered multiple times, always items missing/incorrect and the staff are absolutely useless when you contact them. Avoid like the plague

Just been in McDonald's at Corton Wood. It was empty yet stood waiting 20 mins for my order. Was actually asked my the young man who was sweeping the floor if we had collected our order yet, he went to get our meals after they had been sat on the side ready. Once we opened our meals they were cold. We certainly would not go back there again. There were plenty of staff about so can't understand why it took that long.

Partner went through the drive through and literally everyone was asked to pull up and wait. They took a long time to bring the food and was seen running back and forth from the same cars. There was a blonde hair in one of the burgers and the food was cold anyway so a massive waste of money. Won't be going again and I don't recommend others going until things have changed. Absolutely disgusting.

Avoid this store at Cortonwood. We went through drive through to find out once home that the food order was short. 1, only 4 nuggets not six 2, no straws with drinks 3, fries undercooked 4. no sauce Topped off with extremely shocking service with drinks almost thrown in the car.

The staff that work here are fab, there’s an old guy that works here and he’s an absolute gem honestly a total diamond. The kids love him, so do the oldies. It’s super clean here and the food comes out warm.

After finishing a 12 hour shift, I call to McDonald's to order some supper. Order I placed - big tasty medium meal and raspberry pie. I collect my order and drive home to see I have been given the mcspicy burger. Not only is it after 10pm and I am exhausted but the burger was wrong and too hot to tolerate. Really disappointed. Don't recommend

Forgot part of order the second time we ordered

So i used the machine for order didnt give my receipt so didnt know number. Waited 15min for order and when I did receive it missed one of my burgers and no dips at all should have got 3 as I ordered mozzarella share box.

Had to wait a considerable amount of time for my food and when it arrived i asked the person to wait while i check my order as it was very busy and he just walked off deffo will be avoiding this branch

Richard was fabulous, showing magic tricks to our grandson and very friendly. We don't usually like McDonald's, especially to sit in, as there are usually dirty tables, struggle to find a good table, noisy and bins not emptied. But this was rather a pleasant experience xx

As a vegan, I do like the McPlant burger although you don't seem to get the same options as beef burgers. I am really disappointed about the lack of alternatives to cow's milk though.

I have to say this is the cleanest McDonald's I've ever been in. Staff are friendly and clean up soon as someone leaves. Didn't know McDonald's had this high of a standard.

It's become the norm, at Macdonald's to order your food then have to wait 10 minutes or more to get your food , it used to be a fast food outlet now just a car park of running engine's

As always, food and drinks prepared and delivered to the table speedily. I only really call here if we have the grandchildren out with us, but they are always clean and fast with the food

Excellent Food and such friendly staff a very helpful gentleman called Roland made our visit so special.He was so helpful and such a funny man. My grandaughters were laughing at his fantastic fun service it was such a pleasure to meet a staff member who went out out of his way to take the time to talk to us and make us laugh

Staff in general seem to need some customer service training. I wanted to highlight an outstanding staff member called Roland. Super attentive, pleasant, checking all customers were happy with everything, a ray of sunshine too! He needs to train the others so they can join him in providing excellent customer service. A lovely experience today 😊

mcdonald's at cortonwood parks up every single drive through car despite there not being any cars waiting to make their stats look better. means waiting in the car park for 10 mins for a simple order to be brought out.

Try another Mcd’s in your area if you can. Decided to go in-store for an App collection as put the drive thru as collection but there was a queue. After waiting 10 minutes for a member of the team to realise I’m waiting to be seen, I let them know I’ve come instore for the collection as the drive thru is busy. It did proceed to take another 10 minutes to put together an operation for this. They then asked me to make payment, I let them know that payment has already been taken on the app and I did show them the evidence. (Bank notification/statement). When I eventually received my food the burger was cold, fries luke warm however to my surprise the latte was hot however definitely wouldn’t recommend the galaxy caramel latte. Will not return here from now on.

I am only eating there because it's on my way home. But the amount of times I have been there is the same as the amount of things they forgot to give. The worst part is that even in the seasonal things like cheese bites they always forget to add dips. The new burger The Big & Cheesy was badly prepared- lettuce was on the sides and came out as soon as I picked it up, there were no signs of crispy onion and the red onion was sliced too thick. There was a lady that brought our order to our car and it was my mistake to not go thru all the bag and see that dip but what is the point of asking if there are products missing in the sandwich...

They never get a full order correct and if they get food right then drinks are like water and not drinkable

The worst McDonalds I have ever used. Food is always cold, management staff are as helpful as socks on a fish, mcflurry machine turned off for cleaning during peak times, always have to go into the carpark to wait (even when there is no queue) as they appear to have lost the idea of what "fast food" means.

I think this place exists to deter people from eating mcdonald's.

Disgusting attitude from the staff at the restaurant luckily I was waiting for my food and I didn't order from any of the delivery apps. The delivery orders had literally been left on the desks even though delivery drivers where waiting for them. The staff seem to not want to bother with communicating with the delivery drivers and instead where telling them to move away. Horrible staff.

Shocking. Everytime we place an order on just eat there are items missing. But it takes the mick when we don't even receive and entire meal between us with the amount of food missing. Absolutely no help from staff. Told to request a refund from just eat. It would be more ideal to actually receive what we ordered. If staff can't get orders right then maybe something needs doing in regards to training and ensuring that the service provided even comes close to on par

This place has hit rock bottom. 2nd time in a row this, been after a long shift at work for food and it took 30 minutes first time and 20 this time to come out to me and both times freezing cold first time I should have took it back this time it got took back and made to re do it. I will no longer use Corton Wood Mc Donald’s the new one near M1 is way better avoid this place.

Staff work so hard and have to deal with such a high demand. They deserve all the respect. Food was fast and my boys enjoyed it.

Halloween was in full flow at this McDonalds, Roland and Tara were in costume to entertain the kids, we'll done.

Ordered via Drive Thru and as usual got parked up in car park despite car being absolutely full with nowhere to actually park up causing people to double park. Had to wait 35mins for food to be brought out to car and only when got home realised half the order was missing, nothing was customised and what was in the bag was barely warm. This McDonalds is not fit for purpose with too many delivery orders seemingly taking priority and the delivery drivers filling up the car park.

If you enjoy waiting for over 45 minutes in your car after ordering through the "drive thru" to get home to cold food, soggy chips and items missing then this place is for you! I can't fathom how they can get this so badly wrong, so often. Utterly appalling service. I even had to ring them to remind them them I was still waiting in the car. Save your stress go elsewhere.

My daughter visited this mcdonald’s today with her friends after school and was rudely spoken to and had dirty looks directed to her by a member of staff. She overheard a specific member of staff saying that under 18s should not be allowed into the store as they are all badly behaved and unpleasant to be around. I personally find this very contradicting as everytime i have been to this specific mcdonald’s, all of the staff have looked under 18 themselves and have better customer service skills than the elder staff. Children should not be made to feel unwelcome in ‘family restaurants’ and i think the staff need to change their attitude towards youth as they’re not all badly behaved.

I have never been to a worse McDonald’s. The service and food is appalling. I have no idea how somewhere can be so busy yet all the food be freezing cold! Ordered two burgers and fries - the entire meals were cold. The box of nuggets we ordered were warm but didn’t taste fresh at all, the coating was really tough. Last couple of times we’ve been they’ve forgotten dips, even when we’ve paid for them or they’re supposed to come with meals. Just avoid - fed up of giving it another chance expecting it to be better, it won’t be. Save your money!

Food is always cold in restaurant, click and collect and drive through. Today’s food order for click and collect. 20 min later food arrives cold again, I did however enjoy watching the uber eats drivers collecting food orders and spending 10 min chatting to each other before driving off, never again.

The service is pretty quick when you dine in or takeaway, but I would not recommend getting food delivered from here, there's 50% chance your order will be wrong and a 90% it will be cold. On my last visit I tried the new Mcplant burger which was ok, I've had much better vegan burgers from other takeaways so it could have been better but I've also had much worse shop bought plant based burgers. My son always liked coming to this McDonald's due to the 4 tablets available for the kids to use and they were also giving out balloons.

Ordered via just eat. Never received our food. Driver obviously delivered to wrong address. Rung up n didn't do anything about it. Just said that on their system.it says delivered. Told us to go on just eat n click on did not receive food for a refund.. Will not be ordering or going in anymore.

Supposed to be "Fast" food, took nearly 15 mins wait for the food to come. Might aswell have reared my own cows and done my own burgers in that time..

We called tonight for a treat, but we’re desperately disappointed!! Went through drive through, didn’t get any chips and no strawberry flavour in the milk shake. Disgusting. Probably won’t be going back anytime soon

after ordering via just eat i watched the tracking of my meal that went from 4 minutes(Brampton) away to 13 minutes (Wombwell) waited 2 minutes it then went to 18 minutes away (Hoyland) at which i rang the store to say i did not want the food as it would be cold . the girl who answered stated it was not there problem as they did not control the drivers if i was not satified contact just eat . JUST EAT will only refund 2 thirds of the amount only refunding the cost of the food not the delivery or the service charge ... disgusting service from all parties

Not a bad place for a burger. One thing is....there's always people smoking weed and revving engines in the car park late at night. There's always a healthy amount of seagulls flying overhead. I think they're addicted to the cheese burgers. They might swoop if you wave your chips about so keep them guarded. Overall 5 stars.

What Can I add to the McDonald's review? Hm. It doesn't any recommendations as it what it is - the McDonald's. The only thing I can point is that although it gets very very busy the crew manages to deal with orders very quickly and effectively. Even when queuing at MC Drive it does not take longer than 5-10 min to wait and being served.Well done.

I have been to McDonald's when I was a kid that I got a happy meal and my had a happy meal as well, this restaurant is so amazing and even went there as a kid in my memories. I had a nice time at McDonald's.

I had to sit in the car park and wait for our meals which took some time, when they arrived they were only warm and not very pleasant. Will not use this unit again.

This place has gone downhill over the past few months. Order accuracy is shocking. Paid extra for Coke Classic ie not diet or zero and was given coke zero. Ordered a plain cheese burger for it to have everything on it. And yesterday we watched a manager in store giving free drinks and ice cream to a table of school kids and showing them how to fill out the survey in a positive light plus also saying that they want to recognise a member of staff and gave them her name......

Placed our order over uber eats, the order came 15 mins late the order was totally wrong wasn't even ours and the fact that what was in the bag was totally different what was on the receipt.

Although it was quiet, it took time to actually ask me for my order. However, It wasn't long until I was served. My only gripe I was my that the bbq sauce dispenser is being discontinued

I came in with my family I have ordered some burgers and chips and more about £15 the burgers was not hot maybe she took old. I returned all 6-7 burgers, I told I need all hot, she took inside she changed cover of burgers and she returned again the same burgers. It was disgusting we bin all. WASTED STAFF Please do not order anymore in (Cortonwood MCDONALD'S) waste of money and waste of time

My brother and partner went to get us all some food he ordered a chicken nugget meal.. the chips was very greasy and not very warm either and there was no chicken nuggets with my so called meal which we paid for!!

Took my disabled son (he has Down syndrome) to get a happy meal and they said to him BUZZ LOOK AN ALIEN (to me it was funny but my side ting was there)

Delivery order came and we didn't receive no fries for 3 of the orders,no apple pie and everything else ordered was cold, it not the first time this has happened , GETTING WORSE.

I sometimes call in here for breakfast. Sometimes it's slow but the staff are nice and the food is always up so scratch.

Fast food ,months go. 4.30 am start.

The place itself and the staff are great, unfortunately the staff are constantly having to deal with youths that descend on the place like the plague. They cause such havoc and their staff have no choice but to try and tell them to leave but they don't care, they laugh or off and shout and swear in front of kids. They aught or ban them completely but there's nothing they can do. It's such a shame because the staff are using quite friendly.

Busy on Friday evening and weekends

1000 minutes till your order it's ready, but it's at least better than other options when you order something, you pay the huge amount of money and when you take your order, you see you have many many missing items :/ So better here..

If I could give this McDonald zero stars I would. They can NEVER get it right! We stay ten minutes at the speaker to place our order, end up having to go round to the first window to place our order and pay. To then have to wait for our food in a parking bay, I understand that they have to prepare our meal. But my frustration came when we got all the way home to find half of the order we paid for isn't in the bag and what was in the bag was cold. I really wouldn't bother wasting your money.
