Katie's Cafe in Rotherham

Ordered for the first time food took 2 hours and 15 minutes to come, when it came delivery driver apologised for the wait when we opened the food it was underwhelming the hash browns and eggs were burnt most of the food was cold warmest thing being the hash browns which were luke warm

all food was great besides no chicken on the loaded garlic baguette. but other than that was great as always

Nice breakfast needs fresh mushrooms instead of tinned, apart from that it was delicious

When i got the food it was ice cold after warming it up i ate and have been ridden with food poising for 4 days onwards now.

I was told after enquiring at the restaurant that my order would be no longer than 1hr delivery as they were busy, but my order took 1hr and 55 minutes before it left the restaurant. Only to arrived almost charred and cold also none was edible.

Food is alway perfect from breakfast to dinner can’t fault the place highly recommended

On the app it said it was delivered at 13.25 but never arrived until 13.56. The breakfast was delicious but the cake and custard were cold, ordered the same before and had hot custard. Will still order again as no previous bad experiences

ordered this food at 11:30 still waiting at 1:15 rang in for them to tell me they’ve only just started cooking it?? try turning off just eat and give your self chance to catch up bc waiting 2 hours is a joke

always excellent. wouldn't mind sauce choice when picking a sandwich but most are so good you don't need any anyway

When food arrived it was cold I removed the egg and had to warm up and throw the toast away as was rock solid. I’ve been given an account credit of £1.49 to use here which won’t get used.. just short of £13 for a cold breakfast won’t be ordering again sorry

Gorgeous food as always now with CYO desserts! Had a waffle last night 🤤 could be a daily occurrence now because WOW! Never had a bad word to say about Katies cafe the staff are lovely too!

Amazing food every time, always fresh and hot food, tastes amazing, and had it ready fast as well which surprised me as it was busy. The staff are also very polite and friendly as well and the prices are great, especially when it fills you up. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Such a shame. First time I've order from Katie's for delivery The food arrived Lukewarm to start. Steak pie and marsh with mushy peas.on the add the pie looked homemade.What turned was a shop bought pie(Disappointed ),the mushy peas weren't mushed enough still whole,the mash was lovely and the gravy was ok . Ordered for college a double hot dog with cheese & onions. Same again hot dogs from a jar with under cooked onions not translucent as they should The best thing from that order was the bun which was none generic and very nice. To plain and generic for us .1star

Quality is good for the price and I always enjoy Katie’s but the delivery time is shocking. I placed the order at quarter to 11, was told between 11:55 and 12:15 so over an hour straight away, this then arrived late (may have only been 10 minutes but late is late when your waiting over an hour anyway) the beans today were grey and cold. Disappointing

I've only had a handful of items from them but they're always top notch. They always notice the notes you put on your order, and have always delivered earlier than anticipated which is great when you're hungry. They've become a breakfast staple for me.

food was cold when it arrived when it was late the quality of the food was nice couldn't eat half of it becasue it didn't taste nice sausage and eggs was over cooked black pudding didn't taste right wasn't worth the money with the time I had to wait it coste me £20.05 and I couldn't eat even half of it would appreciate a refund

Delivery was good but the food was cold

Ordered 5 items from here and 3 of them were wrong the other 2 were that burnt they were inedible! Won’t be ordering from here ever again! AVOID!!!

the burger and chips was great, no complaints. the picnic box, however did not taste great to me. the ham sandwich was nice, the tuna tasted a bit off (too fishy to be fresh), the egg mayo has far too much mayo (and not mixed in to the egg, just sliced egg with loads of mayo on top). the cakes were tasty, I enjoyed them. the pork pie was a bit soggy, but good quality pork.

Been getting breakfast sandwiches for years, yet the first time we have ordered and it was horrible! Tried to eat some of it but nonetheless ended up in the bin, very very disappointed! Sausages were burnt bacon overcooked hash brown soggy and tomatoes and beans flat cold.

Food was hot and delivered on time. The full english was ok and cant complain for the price. The bacon in the bacon baguette was nice and well done as I had asked for but it wasnt in a baguette, it was in a brioche roll which i dont like so didnt eat

Food was delicious! I did order a sausage, bacon and egg sandwich but had no sausage on it :( however still giving 5 stars as ordered from here a few times and this is the only issue I’ve ever had. Thank you for food. It was nice regardless x

Only had coffee and sausage roll, but really happy with it. Not a ridiculous price for coffee that takes 10minutes to arrive, just simple fair at good prices, and properly hot.

Exceptionally poor. Over 2 hours wait for food delivery. When it did arrive everything was over cooked and items missing. Overpriced and poor quality items. Will not be using again.

Avoid this cafe at all costs ordered a double chicken burger a BBQ chicken toastie and a cold chicken mayo sandwich and a portion of chips took 2 and a half hours to come they wouldn't answer phone even after ringing several times on the double chicken burger one patty was over cooked and other was under cooked the BBQ toastie was soggy due to them putting wet salad in the same box chips was soggy to also didn't get my banana milkshake due to them not having any even though on just eat they was in stock what a waste of £26

always enjoy food from here. always good quality meals however when I received my order the meals hadn't been packed properly resulting in every meal spilling out all over. 1 meal just fell out onto floor due to it not been properly wrapped. dissapointing from my fave cafe.

It’s the first time I’ve ordered from here & I must admit I won’t be in a hurry to order again purely just on the time waiting for it to arrive. It was almost 2 hours from ordering to food being delivered. The food was average also so couldn’t even say it was worth the wait.

The bread was dry, the eggs and mushrooms burnt, the bacon tasted like it had been stood for a long time and the spam was cut wafer thin. Had four sandwiches and all ended up in the bin

The bacon was good but the milkshakes were literally gone off and the hot chocolate very weak. The wrap looked like it was stood on.

There was toast missing from my order, the scrambled egg was over cooked and very little of it and there was barely any cheese in my sandwich

The salad sandwich isn’t full salad, it’s tomatoes, lettuce and onion. No cucumber, spinach, radish,beetroot or sweetcorn etc and the lettuce has gone off fyi

First time we used Katies Cafe - it will not be the last. The food came and it was piping hot and delicious. OH ordered small breakfast and said the Hash browns were amazing (i did not get a look in) He ate half and saved the rest for the next day as it was too much but too good to waste! I ordered the zinger tower burger which came with chips both were hot and just how i like them. The delivery said 60min to 75min and the food came early it had only been about 45min wait if that!!! Would highly recommend this place

Was looking for a nice cafe for a breakfast, pregnancy cravings If you know you know 🤣. Due to a recent negative experience at some other Takeaways I wanted somewhere with good ratings and good hygiene and this place ticked those boxes. Very affordable, I had the small munchbox for £9 which is worth every penny! Definitely satisfied my cravings. The delivery guy was polite also which is an added bonus. I'm normally not a bacon eater but it loomed so good and tasted even better! Honestly, best bacon I've ever had. Immediately called my partner to tell him he needs to try food from here 🤣10/10
