The best restaurants in Hatfield Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

We’ve been to Sarah-Jane’s tea rooms in Dunsville today, for coffee and cake. We sampled the Victoria sponge and the lemon drizzle cake and both were gorgeous - light, full of flavour and delicious!! If you’ve not been to Sarah-jane’s tearooms and Coffee lounge, you are missing a treat !! They serve breakfasts, elevens, light lunches, cakes and drinks, and pre booked afternoon tea too!

Hemos tenido varios para llevar de esta tienda de chips y el pescado y las patatas fritas son consistentemente de primera clase. Cada Orden es fresco, sin duda, mi preferencia a esperar unos minutos y comida fresca caliente. El mejor de la zona.

Amazing food as always. And the service is brilliant, I don’t want this to be taken the wrong way. Hong Kong’s reputation speaks for itself, it’s always so busy. I think they could do with another member of staff or two to help cope with the busy service of their amazing restaurant. It did take over 3 hours for 2 courses, was a lovely evening though :)

The staff looked after 5 hungry bikers, and had great food.

Such a shame they're shutting down! many memories made there with the wonderful taste of casanova. the staff provided a great service, always with a smile! The food was always lovely and made in a great amount of time.

Had a lovely breakfast date with my toddler this morning. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We will be returning!

Visited without booking in advance but they had space for us to dine which was awesome. The food was excellent, tasty and plentiful. Can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

¡Dios mío, esta comida es increíble! Fue hace unos meses cuando fui pero pensé en añadir algunas reseñas de algunos lugares que hemos visitado últimamente. La comida es excepcional. Tuvimos el buffet del banquete entre nosotros y no pudimos comerlo todo, había tanto. Muy sabroso también. Excelente relación calidad-precio. La habitación es un poco anticuada, sin embargo esto se puede pasar por alto dada la calidad de la comida. Lo único negativo que diría es que es difícil reservar, ya que no se puede reservar el mismo día y tienes que llamarlos. Piensa que esto se debe a que es muy popular y cocinan todo para la cantidad de personas que atienden. El servicio es excepcional a pesar de que solo parece haber dos personas sirviendo, etc.

2024 update. Food wasn't as nice this time. Chips must have been in the tray for a while as they were not as hot and crispy as usual. Why not tell children that some things cost extra, but just charge them instead. Food is still good but charging the extra quid takes the shine off, especially when it is done against kids.

Messed my order up and then asked for more money, we use open kitchen in Hatfield now and they are great 👍👍👍

Dreadful - place is just a playground for un-controllable screaming kids now. Used to be superb, but an invisible landlord and drunken staff have dragged it to the bottom of all of the pubs in the area. The only time worth visiting is Friday and Saturday but only after the curtains and front door is locked ( back door is open till 3-5 am ) for paying customers - landlord is so drunk by then if he can still stay on his stool he will serve you - I'm sure its illegal to serve when drunk and charge for drinks if its a private 'lock in' - but he has been doing it for years and the brewery turn a blind eye to it. As such if you are bladdered and need some more alcohol - this is the place to go

I had a pleasant stay in one of the rooms above the pub for a few nights. Staff was very friendly. I didn’t eat there so cannot comment on the food - I follow special diet.
