Worst Chinese ever!!!!! The place is really run down and the food is shocking. Ordered a Chicken Chow Mein and it was soggy noodles and a couple of pieces of chicken, no way was it a Chow Mein. The chips are cheap frozen and about a handle full at the best. The worst was the spring rolls, soaking in grease and very little meat content. My partner left nearly all of hers. Avoid!!!!!

Great service and delivery. Food not so good. Lovely chips, chicken curry very nice apart from a large quantity of peas, all of which would have been better if cooked. Fried rice was ok, not too greasy. Sweet and sour chicken balls were horrendous, very floury batter and the chicken itself was very hard. Also, small portions compared with others.

Was in the midst of saying just how nice it was, but then looked down to see uncooked chicken. Sent me straight over toilet & it’s a shame really, enjoyed the place till now but never again. I would post the photo if it allowed !

Ermm...very strange phone call trying to make an order , extremely quick to put the phone down , cancelled the order after waiting best part of an hour

Don’t bother ringing and trying to speak to whoever answers the phone! No customer service whatsoever ever! So rude, I rang and placed an order and before I could get the chance to ask how much it was and how long it will be she just said ‘okay Thankyou bye’ I then said excuse me how much is it/how long? After over an hour I rang back to see where it was only to be greatest with ‘your order is on its way Thankyou bye’ and the phone put down on me before I had the chance to get any words out!! I then called back and explained how rude and how bad that is from a customer service point of view!! Bit of skills and teaching needed!!!

I’d say it was nice but considering there was a dead fly inside my spring roll I find that very unlikely!

Used to be a lovely Chinese absolute disappointment now salt and pepper chips r literally chillie flakes and salt unlike what they used to be with all peppers and onions and actual chillies

Not had a Chinese takeaway for a while, tonight rate both meals 10out of 10.

This was the best Chinese food shop until it changed ownership. Now it is a joke. I want ordered food to be delivered as late as possible. The food turned up within 25 minutes the time being 7: 20pm. The food was supposed to be with my friends we were to have a few drinks and then have the food delivered before going home. The pancake rolls fell out of the bag and onto my floor, the rice seemed slightly undercooked. Everything else was simply ruined because we did not want to eat until after 11 p.m. I spent over £25 on this food and when I spoke to the female owner recently she said I am entitled to a 10% refund. When I said this was disgraceful and was not good enough she basically acted like it was my own problem. I have been a regular at that shop for the 3 years I have lived in Dunscroft. Now I use "Chopstix" Chinese takeaway.... Ash Hill Road. It is a shop that is a bit hidden if you don't know the area like me, the food is so much nicer. And polite staff

Under new management it's now very poor. Hearing alot a poor reviews in recent weeks. Thinking of moving to another Chinese

Lived in york for 8 yrs found a chinese that was fsntastic. Came home and o my god lotus is fantastic better than york. Thankyou so much the food is spot on . And delivers york chinese dont deliver.
