The best restaurants in Skipton North Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

Been here a few times and it always delivers on great service and great food, cooked right there in open area of the kitchen. I went for the Belly Pork with mustard Potatoes, veg and Black pudding an absolute delightful meal, the wife went for the Chicken Breast with a Salad and pasta which had a great yoghurt sauce again a lovely meal.

We received a warm welcome and enjoyable Turkish cuisine here. There's plenty to choose from, including a good vegetarian range and wine from Turkey itself. Leave room for baklava, if you love a proper dessert! We'd love to return

We visited for the first time after looking for vegan food in Skipton. Leaf & Bean was great. The majority of the food is vegan or can be made vegan but is all vegetarian. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food did take a while to arrive but there were only 2 staff (one serving and one cooking), but when it did arrive it was piping hot and really tasty. It was a nice calm environment. It could use some TLC as it's a little shabby but this wouldn't stop us from going back, because the food was great and that's the main thing!

Absolutely fantastic experience. Staff very friendly and attentive at the right level. Service was quick and the food out of this world. Enjoyed it so much. Best sticky toffee pudding ever! Thank you, look forward to visiting again.

Very good pies at Saxon. Nice short crust pie with tasty chips. At great price too. Would definitely recommend

A group of four of us ate at the Craven Kitchen and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was all of a great quality. The onion bhaji starter was great with very light tasty bhajis. The mains were equally good with the Chicken Makani a particular highlight. The rice portions were generous albeit for pilau rice it was a bit unusual but still nice. The food was all served nice and hot (temperature). The restaurant and toilets were clean and well maintained. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Skipton.

Run by two locals, but they have decided to only do top notch foods. I and my family loved the sandwiches and coffee, they also do speciality teas.

I have been coming here for years, I have never had a bad meal, the food is always hot and delicious and the staff are so friendly. It is open from 5.30pm until 11pm and is easy to park nearby. I would recommend the chow mein dishes and the won tons, but whatever you pick, you won't be disappointed. Keep up the good work.

Beautiful place with mouth watering food and excellent quality coffee. Very welcoming Bistro with a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

No step-free access but my partner was able to make it inside with his wheelchair. We enjoyed a delicious caramel latte, seriously some of the best coffee I've had during our visit to the Yorkshire Dales. Also very impressive latte art.The orange and chocolate and savory cheese rolls were also delicious. Friendly staff and dogs are welcome.

A great find in Skipton. Great coffee, cakes and food. I would highly recommend. Staff are very friendly as well.

Lovely little cafe, the service was great and there were fantastic looking cakes and scones. Would definitely visit again.

Nice dog-friendly place with varied seating on the ground floor and upstairs. The slow cooked beef sandwich was nice. The soup was too salty to eat, and they replaced it for me with something else of my choice. The waitress was nice. I had a Bakewell tart, and it was quite nice. The flat white was really good. They had a few beers on tap, including Guinness.

A relaxed, friendly coffee shop and roaster. Great coffee and a super range of cakes too.
