Had a delicious takeaway from here. The food is affordable and tasty. We got a takeaway to take back to our holiday cottage and was not disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the Nan Bread and Onion Baji however all of the food was yummy.

A group of four of us ate at the Craven Kitchen and all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was all of a great quality. The onion bhaji starter was great with very light tasty bhajis. The mains were equally good with the Chicken Makani a particular highlight. The rice portions were generous albeit for pilau rice it was a bit unusual but still nice. The food was all served nice and hot (temperature). The restaurant and toilets were clean and well maintained. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Skipton.

Went for the first time after the positive reviews, all I can say it was ok! Food wise not the worst I’ve had but the service was a bit crazy. Best way to describe it is the staff appeared to be inexperienced as in people were rushing about and busy but aimlessly, had to keep asking for drinks and our food which when it came as I said was ok not great! Probably try a take out next time!

Really friendly staff. Food was very good. Big portions too. Everyone tried a different main and all were delicious! Starters were great too. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.

Moved to Skipton in October, had a semi drunk visit at the end of moving week but back tonight for our first dine in. Very welcoming, great food and would certainly recommend for all types of visit.

Fabulous food and great welcome and service. Good variety and perfect sized portions. Naan bread was the best I’ve ever had. First visit but definitely won’t be our last.

I have eaten at this place and I think the food is fantastic. The fish curry is amazing. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Second visit in a couple of months and I live a hundred miles away! One of the best Indian/Bengali restaurants I’ve ever been to anywhere in the UK or in India itself. Flawless food, friendly service. Will certainly return on my next visit to Skipton.

Every one of our party said this was one of the most delicious curry house meals they had ever tasted (and some were experts!). Service was a bit on the slow side due to the volume of takeaway orders going out the door, but you cannot fault the meal itself. Pretty good value too. We shall certainly return here.

Visited while on holiday in the area - food and service was superb / very attentive and accommodating staff - well worth a visit - very good value for money

Finding it was a problem, leaving it was a bigger problem. We hail from the North-East of England, one half of us from South Shields whose Ocean Road has more Indian Resturants than you have fingers and thumbs in less that a mile. It also has a yearly competition to find the best one. Well we found the best one is in Skipton. Fantastic Indian Food.

Went last night to the craven kitchen after not being able to go for over 18months due to the pandemic and it certainly didn't disappoint again. This is our 5th visit and it seems to get better everytime took my sister and partner who live in Scotland and they were throughly impressed. It's not your normal curry house, the atmosphere is second to none and food is out of this world. Thank you again we will be back 😋

My husband and I ate here tonight for the first time after reading positive reviews. The food is absolutely beautiful, we have eaten at lots of curry houses but this has to be our new favourite. The staff are very friendly, the environment very clean and nicely decorated but the food is just so delicious! We can’t fault it..........we just hope that they get the support from the local community so they keep going through these troubled times. 10/10 superb job guys 😁

First visit to the Craven Kitchen and what a find.i have to say the best tasting curry I've ever had. The starters of mixed kebab and chicken tikka were lovely and flavoursome and the chicken Rogan gosh and dhansack were both amazing.Well done to the chef.On our next visit to Skipton we will return.

My husband I went to this lovely restaurant whilst in holiday and we were given a very friendly welcome. We ordered the chicken tikka and mixed kebab starters and the taste was just amazing . The flavours in the food were very tasty . Our main courses of chicken dhansak and rogan josh with pilau rice and chapattis were just soooooo good and flavoursome . Serge and his brother were lovely hosts and we asked to meet the chef who was their dad . I would recommend this to anyone who appreciates their food as they will not be disappointed . We can t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu 😀😀👍

Visited this restaurant on the recommendation of trip advisor and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. It was quiet in the restaurant due to the current situation but we were made to feel very safe and welcome.

We called this evening for a meal,the restaurant was meticulously clean,clear social distancing measures in place.the food was absolutely amazing,one of the nicest curries we have had in along time,my chicken tikka starter was by far the best I have ever tasted and the chicken tikka masala was the nicest freshest curry.the staff were extremely efficient and professional, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
