The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

Order was placed online for collection, was never accepted left waiting to know whether the order had gone through. No answer to phone calls, drive down and all closed. Why allow orders online if closed?

Stopped off here for a sausage sandwich and tea for one. although the food and service was good I think your price for a sausage sandwich at £4.75 and tea at £3.25 was very expensive the total I paid was £8.00 after taking a walk I saw I could have got the same 2 minutes away for less than £5.00

I had the worst poached egg on toast. Pale insipid eggs and one had hardly any yolk which was also hard poached on cheap nasty bread. My friends had a small breakfast and again the bread was awful and the sausages did not taste locally sourced and all at top prices. Won't be eating here again!

Went on a family walk nearby and called in for a drink on the back. First time most of us had been but it now definitely won't be the last. Very friendly atmosphere and spot on service. Nice people. Shame we couldn't stay longer... especially for the football on tv. Highly recommend

What a brilliant place to stay 👏 we booked last min for Easter bank holiday, the rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean , with everything you need , the pub and restaurant are also lovely and clean , and with a fab menu , the food is lovely at great prices , hats off to the hosts they have totaly nailed it

Best Chinese, ordered crispy shredded beef in bbq sauce and was one of best I’ve had. Would recommend👌

Went here for my 60th birthday...there was 15 of us for a bottomless brunch which was amazing from start to finish ..the 2 staff that was on couldn't do enough for us ..brilliant little place would highly recommend!!

Went here today with my friend. Ordered 2 parathas, 1 small plate of channa, 1 very small plate of halwa, water and 2 cups of tea. The parathas were very hard and extremely difficult to chew. The tea was Luke warm, not hot enough for my liking. As for the potion size. What can I say. They were very small and had to be shared between the two of us. We got charged £20 for this meal. Which I think was extortionately high, given the potion sizes.

Very glad to post the pub has new owners who are great, the last landlord was not good, the villagers are over the moon with the new owners and wish them well.

Lovely place to eat in Ripon, excellent friendly service, delicious food, good variety even vegetarian and vegan, highly recommend a visit here.

This place was super busy, we had a Saltaire Blonde which was delicious. There must have been some sort of family function on, so the place had a great atmosphere. We will be back!
