The best restaurants in West Midlands

I've had afternoon tea from the coffee shop twice and was so impressed each time. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is tasty and fresh with generous portions, and they catered to us with good vegetarian options. I would definitely visit again.

Gilos is a hidden gem. Best grilled food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Really friendly staff too. Burgers and Mockmuffins are 2nd to none! Incredible

Had my little boys party here, the function room is spacious with lots of floor space/stage. The tables & chairs were set out beautifully with covers & bows. The bar staff were friendly with excellent service. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a party venue!

Really nice restaurant that provides great tasting tea with fast and friendly service. Recommend the brown sugar as it is especially tasty!

I've been a few times and I've tried a lot of their menu and it's all been fantastic. Great sandwiches, great hot dogs, great burgers and great service. It's the perfect spot to treat yourself to a lovely breakfast or lunch

What can I say - WOW. This is a secret gem in Cannock. First time visiting with 1 yr old granddaughter. Staff are so friendly and nothings too much trouble. Food was delicious and served quickly. The child’s weening platter is a great idea. The whole place is secure, greeted at the door and locked after you. Clean and tidy, lots of toys scattered about on tables and windowsills. Soft play and ball pit for the younger ones, another room for pre schoolers with play kitchen, train set, car mat, walkers, jumperoo, bubble tubes with fish, role play areas and dress up. Outside area too but we didn’t use that today. We will next time! Children have free reign to play and move from room to room, even the small corridor between rooms has lights and activities on the walls. Baby change is well stocked with nappies of all sizes and decorated to keep their attention during nappy changes. Toilet has child seat and step. You book a table so it doesn’t get crowded. It was perfect today. A bell sounds 5 minutes before your 90 minute session ends, shoes on and collect bags. This is to allow for cleaning ready for the next session. When you order food or drinks, you pay at the end. This is the only thing we weren’t sure on. Would rather pay as you order, very easy to forget to pay!! A great little place that’s well worth a visit. We will be back. Thank you.

Our first visit. Sitting with my wife on the terrace outside the Pavilion Café. Eating healthy and tasty pizza, made with buckwheat. The sun shining from a blue sky. Two Giant Sequoias lending their shade. A robin alighted on a branch above us, looking at the food, assessing his options. Nowhere else we had to be. Nothing else we had to be doing. Having the wisdom to recognise that we needed nothing else. A little piece of heaven here on Earth.

I had a big chicken wrap , it was bigger then I expected, really tasty and superb value , I really liked and absolutely recommend trying them amazing chicken, easy 5 stars from me , thank you guys

Great deli in Church Stretton. The staff were friendly and obviously knew about the food they were selling. Very good range of savoury and sweet food and if you’ve never had fidget pie then this is the place to visit, well worth it.

Brilliant Kebabs with a difference at this independent restaurant - went with a group of friends the food was fantastic full of flavour - great produce cooked fresh - located above the Oil Basin bar excellent selection of beers etc. Definitely will be going back

Everything I have tried from Bamboo Street Food is incredible, and a must-visit when in Leicester! The kebab ‘meat’ is insane, and the amount of fresh toppings is great. Each dish is loaded with flavours, the ingredients are fresh and great quality, and the portions are more than generous. I feel like this is one of the only places now where you can go for an excellent tasting meal, presented well, packed with fresh salad AND buy a drink too, and it comes to £10. It’s exceptional value for money and I couldn’t recommend anywhere in Leicester more for vegan food. Even our non-vegan friends were super impressed with the 100% plant-based menu.

Food was so tasty and took me back to my grandma cooking for me, great friendly service too, highly recommend

I enjoyed my experience at the fixes, I liked the atmosphere food and services. I will definitely be coming there more often.
