Proper nice food. The curried goat was the best I’ve tasted. Don’t be put off by the entrance. You will be made to feel at home immediately and have a fantastic meal. Great service. We will definitely be back next time in Coventry

In coventry for a couple of days and fancied a west Indian. My partner phoned up and asked if they did saltfish and Ackee. He said he didn't have any left but said he would make some more. Also I asked for boiled rice as don't like rice and peas. He again made this especially. We went to the restaurant and introduced ourselves to Garry and Claudia. What a lovely couple. Made us feel really welcome and the food was plentiful and so tasty. I couldn't eat all mine so breakfast for partner tomorrow. Guiness punch was so sweet and nice and claudia filled our glass up before it was empty. We will be back wen back in Coventry. Get yourself down to the restaurant. You won't be disappointed. I was blown away the service and hospitality at this restaurant. Claudia and Garry were so welcoming. We got takeaway but the restaurant has a lovely fresh spacious feel and I will definitely eat in, in the future. I really enjoyed my meal especially the curry chicken and Johnny cakes. I loved the fact that it was based in the Carribbean Association building, who are also doing amazing work.

Very disappointed yesterday. Firstly my husband when to pull his chair in and trapped his finger on the loose seat. His finger was bleeding and I asked 1 of the staff if they had a plaster. I explained to her what happened, she said she will see if they had any. She then came with our starters and said she was still looking for a plaster. I thought this was inconsiderate and that she wasn't interested. I have been several times for Sunday lunch but found it very bland. Meat, cabbage, 1 carrot, roast potato and Yorkshire pudding.

Finger Licking Kitchen Coventry: A Culinary Delight in the Heart of the City Having recently dined at Finger Licking Kitchen in Coventry, I simply had to share my exceptional experience at this gem of a restaurant. As soon as I saw the Jamaica flag, I knew I had to give them a try... From the moment you step through the door, it's clear that this establishment is something special and it felt authentically Jamaica The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between casual comfort and Finger licking dining. Warm, delicious and an environment that reminds me of back-a-yard. It really set the stage for what would become a memorable culinary journey. So glad we opted for authentic rather than generic. I must highlight the exceptional service - attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about ensuring guests have a wonderful experience. The staff's recommendations were spot-on, loved the rum punch and so thankful the cheif made me fish to order. Utterly delicious If you're looking for an authentic Jamaican dining experience that combines superb food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere in Coventry, Finger Licking Kitchen is an absolute must-visit. This restaurant has certainly earned its place among my top dining recommendations in the area.
