Proper nice food. The curried goat was the best I’ve tasted. Don’t be put off by the entrance. You will be made to feel at home immediately and have a fantastic meal. Great service. We will definitely be back next time in Coventry

In coventry for a couple of days and fancied a west Indian. My partner phoned up and asked if they did saltfish and Ackee. He said he didn't have any left but said he would make some more. Also I asked for boiled rice as don't like rice and peas. He again made this especially. We went to the restaurant and introduced ourselves to Garry and Claudia. What a lovely couple. Made us feel really welcome and the food was plentiful and so tasty. I couldn't eat all mine so breakfast for partner tomorrow. Guiness punch was so sweet and nice and claudia filled our glass up before it was empty. We will be back wen back in Coventry. Get yourself down to the restaurant. You won't be disappointed. I was blown away the service and hospitality at this restaurant. Claudia and Garry were so welcoming. We got takeaway but the restaurant has a lovely fresh spacious feel and I will definitely eat in, in the future. I really enjoyed my meal especially the curry chicken and Johnny cakes. I loved the fact that it was based in the Carribbean Association building, who are also doing amazing work.

Me and the husband came to check out the new venue and we were not disappointed. Firstly we were met by Carol who made us feel very welcome, explaining the menu choices and being very attentive. Her energy made us feel right at home. Secondly the food was simply delicious. We requested the saltfish fritters as a starter - They were fragrant and tasty. I had the honey jerk salmon with rice and peas and a side of plantain. The salmon was cooked perfectly and was so, so good. The sauce that came with it didn't really taste honey or of jerk, but was sweet and sticky and complimented the salmon well. My husband went for the big man plate, which consisted of mutton, jerk chicken, rice, chips, mac and cheese, plantain, coleslaw and dumplings! He devoured the lot of it - His only comment was that the fries weren't needed on the plate, but each to their own! There wasn't any alcohol available but this didn't concern us as we went to enjoy food rather than caring about alcoholic drinks. We tried their homemade sexy juice and it was everything we had hoped for. I would highly recommend the food to everyone.

The food from here is next level good, you can tell it's cooked with love. So homely and full of flavour. The curry goat is without a doubt the best I have ever had and the brown stew chicken is absolutely delicious. Can't recommend this place enough.
