This place is amazing! The food was absolutely phenomenal. Visited with the family for an early evening bite. A very warm welcome from Andy who advised us around our order and recommended a few dishes. We ended up ordering most of the menu! I had the Oktoberfest kebab and wife and kids the Greek. Both were unbelievable, packed full of different flavours. The Babbers fries also highly recommended and a meal in themselves! A family of four fed to bursting with absolutely amazing food and great value too. This is a little gem of a place, we’ll be back very soon. I hope Andy’s venture goes from strength to strength, his passion for food is so obvious and reflected in the quality and freshness of all of the dishes. As a side note the bar itself was very friendly and welcoming of the family. Highly recommended

This rustic little restaurant is run single handedly by Andy - and what a gem it is...the food was wonderfully tasty, I had the Buffalo Chicken thighs, a perfectly blended mix of spices and heat along with deliciously prepared chicken topped with the finest straw potatoes imaginable on a hand made flat bread - and with all the other flavours and surprises between. We had side dishes of saffron potatoes, wood fired feta which had the most delicate flavour, and pimientos de Padron. Andy is a great chef and produces beautiful original menus and it’s so worth a visit to this rather hidden venue ...but go into the bar of the Oil Basin, grab a cold beer and head up the stairs. Andy will be waiting to greet you - and you won’t be disappointed.this is an imaginative exciting young chef so another visit is a must.....but he does have a delivery service for Worcester too. See you soon.

After seeing an article in the local paper thought we would pop in and try. We were not disappointed we both had the shawarma lamb shoulder and shared a portion of fries. The lamb was wonderful and tender and could really taste the Smokey flavour. It was served on a flatbread with homemade colourful condiments including pea and mint hummus. We will definitely be back to try some other delights on the menu.

Excellent food upstairs in a bar tucked away off the Main Street in Worcester. Chicken Bab was excellent - and for £10 - you got a lot for the spend. Would definitely visit again.

This is a great place in Worcester for a coffee and cake or lunch. The coffee is really good with lots of different options including some really strong filters brews. The almond croissants and chocolate twists are also amazing. The staff are also really friendly whenever you visit and will go out of their way to serve you. Would highly recommend a visit if you're in Worcester!

Bartender was rude assumed we only pit stopped for a toilet and told us to leave after we said we would have a drink

Second-hand bookshops in Worcester appear to be the exclusive province of the Charity sector. Of these, Snowdrops is easily the best, both in stock and presentation; prices are acceptably reasonable. The café makes a good place to review your finds and persuade yourself to buy a couple more that you were feeling too mean to buy outright... [The bookspine counter is worth a visit all by itself.]
