Great food, proper Stoke breakfast, served on tin plates with oatcakes, perfect. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Good value too. Very clean. Created a good outdoor area for when we get some decent weather 🙏

Greasy undercooked chips lasagna looked like it had been served on the plate with a dessert spoon and the amount of salad was overwhelming. Wrong larger brought to the table

Fish and chips on a Friday night. We were staying at crowtrees campsite, so thought we would give it a go. Lovely thick pieces of haddock, chips were cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. Kids had sausages and enjoyed them, we all tried the curry sauce too. Value for money and portions were good too.

We had not been to The Wheel for quite a while so decided to walk up and have tea. This is a lovely, old school traditional pub. The food was really good. The menu is exactly as you'd expect from a decent pub. Nothing fancy, no pages and pages to read through so you can't see the wood for the trees, just a good menu of real food at excellent prices. My husband had the lamb shank in red wine special and I had scampi. Portions were a good size and we both really enjoyed it. As it is such excellent value I am sure we will be back.
