Quality breakfast. A welcome that was warm and friendly, awesome breakfast, to die for oatcakes, washed down with a great choice of drinks. Throughly recommended........

We had Sunday roast, and it is by far the best one I have ever had. Everything is fresh, and nothing is too much trouble for them

Enjoyed a lovely family meal. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Catered well for Vegans, though I understand they changed the menu since our visit.

Delicious food! Staying at Crowtrees caravan site and had takeaways twice. Fish, chips and peas for hubby and seafood pizza for me first night, very tasty, quality food, good service. Tonight we’ve had liver and onions and chicken curry, both with chips, so impressed - both meals were delicious!

We will not be going back to The Plough in Endon. We booked 3 people for 5pm today and arrived to an empty restaurant at 4.55pm. We were offered a table for 6 by the toilets but we're changed to a table fof 4 when we asked if an alternative was available. The carveries were cold and spoiled what was a treat. We then ordered 2 desserts, one from the main menu and one special. When the special came it was missing the strawberries. On querying this we were told the presented dessert was the same as the main menu as they didn't have the strawberries. The waiter said he would ensure we were only charged for the lower priced main menu, which we were. However returning home I checked the receipts to find 2 additional items had been added, neither of which had been ordered or received. The monetary value was only a small addition but that's not the point. The staff were very nice (apart from adding items we didn't have) but 3 staff for what became a very busy restaurant and a bar just wasn't enough. I also feel the quality of the food is not what it used to be but I now think that's Toby in general and not down to any individual pub.

Friendly, and warm lovely log fire, good food and well kept ale. Great treat on a cold winters day. Good old fashioned puds as well. Everyone in our group was very pleased, good craic to.
