Great food, proper Stoke breakfast, served on tin plates with oatcakes, perfect. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Good value too. Very clean. Created a good outdoor area for when we get some decent weather 🙏

Our 3 year old son loves to come here (and so so we!). The couple who run this are polite, friendly and attentive and always happy to help. A real bonus is how good they are with excited Children! The food and service are great and they really know how to do proper coffee and tea. Personally, I’d love to see the station connected up to the Churnet Valley Railway and see the cafe operate alongside. But for now, the train station lives on in a small but fitting way.

We found this by accident and went in, I had a decaf coffee which was good and hubby had an ice-cream which he enjoyed. We sat outside as it was sunny, a very friendly couple and would use again.

Good tasty traditional, that is what we were served when we dropped in for a bite. The one woman staff run this well secluded eatery on the side of a disused rail station in the Staffordshire Moorlands.see feasted on a Tinplate breakfast of bacon, tomato and cheese with fresh oatcakes. All this and a pot of tea for two at less than a tenner.

Mother and son team working in the old railway station of Endon, they have several tables seating 2’s and 4’s it’s a small room but airy. Pictures from the past all with a local train theme hang from walls, it’s clean with a simple but varied menu centred around oatcakes. They also sell fresh cream cakes, stokie oatcake theme gifts as well as oatcake mixture. Jason the son of the team makes all the oatcake here at the station, fresh daily and to order. (They even sell them wholesale to some local shops). Now let me tell you these are one of the best oatcakes we’ve ever eaten and being as we where weaned on them some 40+ years ago we tried a few. But if you don’t believe me try for your self. “There’s nowt better” Closed Sunday and Monday

Had a breakfast here having loved the idea of food on a tin plate. I had melted cheese, bacon and tomatoes on a nice hot grilled tin plate with a couple of small but really good oatcakes. Coffee was free but not very good. The other half had a full english but they fell down here - cold plate, rubber egg and very hard toast, he didn't enjoy. IMO they are nearly there, but need to scale down the breakfast offerings - if this was limited to an oatcake breakfast served on hot tin plates and if they had good coffee in a mug and decent toast, it'd be 5 stars all the way. Just to reconfirm - the oatcakes are really good. Also service good, the lady is nice and i get the feeling she'd sort out awkward customers without missing a beat. And the young guy making oatcakes and also serving, very personable indeed and pleasant. This is average rating based on coffee toast and not good full english - but excellent in terms of a tin plate brekkie. Also fab surroundings and lovely dining area.

We had superb friendly treatment today; fascinating menu with homemade oatcakes and all the usual for a small cafe. Memorabilia from the old railway which may still have a lease of life. These people are special and merit a call just off the A53 on your way there or back to the beauty spots of the Churnet Valley.

A small cafe built in the old ticket office ( and ladies toilets I believe) alongside the train track. Lovingly restored. Good food. Friendly staff. Sensible prices. It's a small cafe, so not ideal for pushchair or wheelchair users. Ideal place to call in for a traditional tin plate breakfast or Staffordshire oat cakes if you have people visiting from out of the area.

A very warm welcome awaits in this little gem of a café, you couldn't wish for better service and the food is always excellent, there is no way you could find fault here,to be able to sit in and enjoy the home cooked food for the price they charge is amazing, the owners work very hard to provide a very enjoyable service so if in the area give it a go you won't be disappointed

Went for lunch with my partner and we both had the oatcakes, vey good with a variety of fillings. This is a small place , the oatcakes are made on site and all the foods is homemade and mostly locally sourced, the food can also be ordered to take away as well. This is a family run cafe and everyone seems very nice without being intrusive, you could easily drive pass this place, the easiest way to find it is to take the Endon turn off the main road between Brown Edge and Leek and just pass David Mcmullen's pharmacy on the right sharing a carpark with the doctors surgery.Well worth a visit.

Ignore the best meal comment as we only went for a bacon sandwich. This is a very welcoming cafe based in the old station building at Endon. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. We both had a bacon and cheese sandwich which was excellent and a pot of tea. The tea pot was refilled at no extra charge. We didn't try the oatcake but most other dinners did, apparently it's a speciality of the house. The railway is soon going to be open so it would be nice to travel there by train from Cheddleton, have breakfast and return by train.I would throughly recommend this cafe.

We two were taking a drive in the Staffordshire Moorlands, and we came upon this little café just off the Leek to Stoke on Trent road.Only about 250 yards ,and we were in the countryside next to what seemed to be an old Railway station. After further scrutiny,we ventured into the café situated in old station buildings, along which ran a length of dis used track. This two person establishment had recently opened ,and to our delight was serving good wholesome food and snacks. As well as the normal tea , coffee etc ,there was Staffordshire oatcakes made on the premises, nice and warm from the Baxted. We ordered and chatted with the locals mainly about the likelihood of the adjoining railway re opening.Local people obviously use this establishment because we were given lots of detail on the surrounding area and its history. No doubt about it ,we will call again.

What a lovely surprise this turned out to be. The staff greeted us warmly, the Bistro had a lovely calming ambiance and the food was freshly made on the premises. We had a very pleasant few hours and will definitely return to enjoy the other delights on the menu, at very reasonable prices. Fish and chips Friday is first on our hit list!!
