Toby Carvery in Staffordshire Moorlands

Spot on. Food lovely, staff friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend to all. A lovely location too! Thank you we really enjoyed it.

We visited here this evening, Sunday 5pm. We were shown to our table quickly enough but it took 15 minutes for someone to come back to the table for a drinks order. Carvery wasn't great. The beef was so fatty it was inedible and the roasties were rock hard. The mint sauce is so watered down it was like putting water on the meal. The gas in the drinks machine needed changing as all the fizzy drinks were flat. Took an ages to get desserts and despite asking for the bill, it never came so we paid at the bar and left.

Came in for a catchup with friends and we were greeted with a lovely welcome from the staff, the food was hot, tasty and had a good selection of meats and vegetables. This isn’t the first time I’ve been here and it never fails to impress me. It’s great value for money and I will definitely recommend to all my friends. Thankyou

Beautiful pub in a beautiful location. The food never disappoints. Staff are so lovely & very attentive. We visit once a month & we’ve never had a bad meal. The chefs keep everything topped up and are always there to help if we need anything. They also do lovely bar snacks which we’ve had before!
