What a great pub brill staff fantastic

As usual, a great afternoon with friends, a meal, a coffee and a good time at a good price ☺️

Does what it says on the tin!! Cheap but nice breakfast, unlimited Tea coffee etc, not bad at all.

Excellent service today from the lady with the brown hair who brought our food and drinks to the table. Very friendly and approachable.

Great local Wetherspoons! Food is always great quality, and service always first class. Especially the waitress with long dark hair, black dress and tatts, she’s ace. Always a warm welcome, and a friendly atmosphere.

Great place for a quick food refuel or a leisurely drink. Staff are very friendly and helpful and food is basic but hot.

Food was OK, got to say, the gents toilets were spotless and the hot water was hot and plenty of soap. Hand dryers also very good

One of the better smaller Wetherspoons in Staffordshire. Clean and tidy and friendly staff. I will happily return at some point. Haven't been Biddulph much before as mainly go the Grange however might pop by more regularly now

Look, it's a Wetherspoon. Food ok, beer pretty darn good and ambience a bit more motorway services that Hilton but everything is excellent given the ridiculously low prices! One major improvement though... PLEASE get your breakfast plates hot! I come regularly for a Saturday breakfast and coffee and the breakfast is ALWAYS tepid by the time it arrives. Cold fried eggs are no fun 🫤. I'm giving a 4 out of 5 overall, heat up those breakfast plates and it'll be a 5!

These days in a morning it looks to be used as a coffee shop for all the older community of biddulph. Busy,rather din inside ,looking a bit tired.

Knowledgeable staff, nice food, some tables in need of clearing.

It is quite a big pub, reasonably good food, car parking to the rear and good helpful, friendly bar staff.

Cheap and cheerful but a decent cup of coffee and a big plus you get refills we had American pancakes bigger enough portion to share between the two of us

Good pub seems to be busy most of the time so a good atmosphere, nice pint of guiness and curry night +beer can't go wrong

Been here well over a dozen times, never had a bad experience, very consistent. Visted today with my daughter and her friend . The staff were very friendly and efficient as they always are, your never kept waiting here to be served .The food came out very fast ( less than ten minutes ) it was hot and the girls very well much enjoyed it. The place was clean and well kept and this weatherspoons slso has a fireplace so it's quite warm and cosy . There's a nice gear garden out the back too so it's quite pleasant in the summer. All in all an excellent spoons. Highly recommended.

Worst pub ever food rubbish steak full of fat will definitely not be going back

Been today for their Christmas lunch. That's if you call it a Christmas lunch. Very poor quality it was like it was thrown on a plate with no thought. Very expensive and wasn't worth £12. Resulting in a bad stomach afterwards. Won't be having one again from here

Boiled chicken burger with 0 seasoning. Asked to be swapped the waitress said "the menu doesn't say its seasoned at all"

Two items on menu not available. Noisy environment despite not very busy. Good price. Steak and kidney pudding more of a pie than pudding.

Cheap but good quality beer (especially the shipyard) food is fantastic and very well priced. The staff are fantastic. Best spoons around!

Poor service. Poppadoms on curry swimming in grease. Asked staff to change. Grease tipped off and returned. Samosa cold. No obvious management on duty. Not good

We had a lovely meal for six, the service was first class + we didn't have to wait long for it seeing as the place was packed.

We ordered two Bbq chicken melts with chips , we asked for the bacon well done . The meals came out with jacket potato instead of chips and the bacon was basically raw . When the meals came back from the kitchen literally two minutes later the chips were cold. It wasn’t really very busy . So will be giving this a miss.

Food was good quality and promptly served. Went for breakfast and pub was busy which was not a problem. A lot of the customers are regulars who had started drinking early.

Nice place, great beer garden. Maybe a general wetherspoons issue, but portion sizes seem smaller than usual

Lovely pub ace team Lauren stud out with excellent customer service. The family was happy with the fast service and not to be forgotten about drinks and food arrived fast. Lovely atmosphere as always and ace beer garden with Sunny spots and shaded tables.

A Wetherspoons with plenty of staff actively clearing tables is unusual in our local one. We went twice. Probably the best I've been in.

It's a Weatherspoons! Cheap food and drink in an ok setting. Don't expect The Ritz, but I've never had anything to complain about in our many visits. I've had worse service and food in pubs charging triple the price.

Went on a bank holiday, and was pleasantly surprised that it was not very busy. Ordered my food on the app, only to be told that the kitchen didn't have enough dough to make my pizza! Reordered, and the food was fine. I felt sorry for the member of the staff, but she dealt with me in a friendly and professional way.

No atmosphere. Ordered two chicken and bacon salads, very disappointed, very small meal, not worth the money.

I entered this restaurant to purchase a meal and a non alcoholic beverage but was immediately threatened and intimidated by the attendant staff. As a non-local autistic male I was singled out by local thugs who are the custodians of this violent place.

decent ish pub but regulars can be a bit rude

Came back here for breakfast as it's local, cheap and convenient. Real shame the breakfast is STILL served on large cold plates. It may have been hot leaving the kitchen but the cold plates suck the heat out by the time it arrives. I was even warned by the waitress to mind the plates as they're hot! Pfft. Could be really good value but if it's cold it ain't a nice experience. Oh, add to that only two coffee machines for a place that seats a couple of hundred? Be prepared for a long queue!

Food quality needs to be better and constant

NO Receipt given at time of purchase. Service was swift HOWEVER 8oz Sirloin Steak meal came with very small dollop mash (childs portion i'd say), no peas or anything else included. Visually unappetising & left hungry due to mash size portion. I am an ADULT If I could attach a photo I would. Terrible value for money for £11.79 paid. Wrote to head office who seemed blase. WONT BE BUYING AGAIN!

Didn’t have a great experience this evening. The food was absolutely tasteless and didn’t have great service from the staff.

I’m usually impressed with this establishment but today was a different story. The waitress (who wasn’t even in a uniform) seemed rather disinterested and wasn’t the kindest waitress I have encountered. Furthermore, our table received a meal with really undercooked gammon on, and towards the end of my evening, another person in the pub shouted the “f” word to a friend which usually wouldn’t phase me but we had 3 children under the age of 8 with us. I really don’t want to return.

Cheap and cheerful The establishment is open planed, and needs a refurbishment and where we were sat,was freezing. Food was very basic, hot and lacking taste. I had a chicken burger with stuffing and chips. The burger was warm and lack of taste and the chips looked like, that the oil needed changing. We ordered drinks and that took longer, than the food. If you want a no frills, very basic meal with a drink, then Wetherspoons is for you, but for me, not again. Don’t mind the drinks, but the food needs looking at .

We ended up here by chance and had breakfast with eggs benedict. Prices can be called cheap. It is a cafe with a very extensive menu for both food and drinks. Coffee comes with a free refill.

Cozy atmosphere with a good rotation of beers. The food is typical Wetherspoons which I find to be reasonable for a reasonable price.

*Not even worth 1 star * If anyone wants to go and have a nice meal and sit down this isn't the place to go. "No such thing as a family area" as its taken over by drunk men who don't like to hear children cry. But they are there loyal daily customers quoted from the manager itself so its allowed. Manager awful and has a unprofessional attitude towards customers regarding complaints. Food isn't great either. Won't be returning. Puts other spoons to shame the worst one by far.

Love coming here for a quick cheap delicious breakfast, or a lovely tea when short on time. The staff are friendly, efficient and polite. Tables are cleared and cleaned fast, whether it's quiet or busy.

Popped in for a few drinks last week. Atmosphere was great. The bartender was a bit on the snotty side. Didn't let that stop me from having a great evening

Have to say that the staff here were brilliant but sadly my food was a big let down. I had an 8" vegan roast vegetable pizza and there were just enough veggies on it to avoid breaching the trades description act! Ive eaten here before and found the food to be excellent but not on this occasion. Will be back again and will stick to my Beyond Meat Burger next time.
