The best restaurants in Seighford Stafford West Midlands

We have just moved in area it was quite obvious very local pub , when we went in for food ,loads of kids running havoc through the passage ways not anti kids but it was ridiculous. Felt if we had stayed for food it would have been a inconvenience on a Friday night, restaurant in darkness no atmosphere and you wouldn’t have wanted to eat in bar it was very busy no seats anyway.

Great offering with lovely friendly staff. I use this restaurant/hotel regularly and couldn’t recommend it enough. See you again soon.

Decent ish place. They can be a little slow to replace the popular and expensive buffet items. Buffet price is reasonable. The beer (the pints) are a bit dear.

Well, what a surprise. We arrived well after lunchtime but before tea. The pub itself needs a good overhaul in terms of decor. Quite shabby and dusty. There was no one in the pub at the time, but the staff took our order, and it came quickly. What an amount!! I've never been defeated by meat until now!!! Hubby had a grill which was plentiful, and I had ribs. Little too much sauce for me but I scraped it off. It was tasty.. I took half of mine home! We will definitely revisit. Sunday carvery is supposed to be good....

We normally visit on a Sunday, for the carvery, but we decided to have meals off the main menu. Great value for money, food tasted great. We will continue to return.

Note - Limited menu as closing in 2 days!!! Not told when booked table. However staff very very helpful especially as they will have no jobs in a few days 😄

Nice venue, great food, great service, great selection of drinks and very nicely decorated. My only criticism is the aroma in the gents toilets, apart from that, well worth a visit.

We met friends for lunch on a weekday. It’s a historic mill and is an old building with a bar and restaurant. Food is pub grub but well done. Everything is cooked properly and nothing dried up or inedible. Nice chips! A bit chilly as we were near the door, but that’s not their fault.

Friendly staff and good selection of food. As with a lot of places, service was a little slower due to the number of drive-thru orders but staff acknowledged us quickly and apologised for the delay. The place has a nice atmosphere.
