I am a regular customer and I have never had a bad meal from these guys, food is always hot and fresh by far the best takeaway in Chesterton.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Newcastle premier inn, received a warm welcome from the receptionist. Throughout our stay We had an issue however the night receptionist, Tommy was absolutely amazing; he was patient, understanding and so polite! He deserves so much credit for what he does - he checked us in and was present both nights. He was pro active and an asset to the company - everything you would want in a hotel receptionist! I hope he gets this review and feels proud to work there as he delivered top service to our family and we are so grateful.

I've had from here for yrs had a few months ago was awful but thought it was a one off then lastnight 6th December 24 thought I'd give there food a go again omg it was disgusting burnt meat kebab food awful but so I thought I'd ring to say and said I'd got a photo his shocking reply was OK no reimbursement so shocked will never eat from here and will make sure others don't

Fantastic pub with very friendly staff who look after you , the food is amazing top chef. There is a good variety of drinks to offer to.

This place is spotlessly clean with lovely staff. My son treated me to cheese & bacon oatcakes, which hit the spot perfectly. Good quality ingredients - some places use cheap, fatty, paper thin bacon and cheap tasteless cheese, but here, the quality is excellent! There are usually cheesecakes and cakes for sale too, also nice pies, or fresh sandwiches can be made. It's a little gem of a place. Of course, most importantly, it is spotlessly clean and the staff are lovely and friendly. What more can you ask for? >

Never used this takeaway before and recieved a menu, its on the doorstep so give a try. So popadoms were tasty , seemed fresh, little dissapointed with the tiny cartons of mango, onion and mint sauce, the mint sauce was tasty and mild. Onion Bhajis next, salad in with the bhajis (sorry prefer my salad cold) but thats me, Bhajis were the flat type not the usual balls you would get elsewhere, but were lovely and tasty , not dry at all. Chicken Tikka Pathia for my main meal, it was good more sauce than herbs or other pathias i have have but tasted ok, chicken was very nice. accompany to this was a garlic keema nan, sorry guys not the best i have had and the edges were quite hard and crusty. Never mind that the first time and most of the meal was ok, i will try again with something different, watch this space

To be fair we went in late so the place was a little empty. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was nice and ok price

Ordered a £15 takeaway for delivery yesterday. Quality was not great at all, very disappointed. Paid the delivery driver a £20 note, he said he had no change on him and would drop my change off shortly. He was never to be seen again. Rip off. Rob dog. I will never order from here again. Very Dry, very little filling and tasteless, over priced. I was in a hurry and hungry so made the mistake of going in. pie and cake tasteless, I didnt eat them so basically throw my money in the bin. Well done Wrights years in business and you've not learnt to cook.

went for Christmas day dinner with our family.booked for 2pm.At 2 35 we had starters.was told main was being plated up.at 3pmsaid they late.we asked what was goingon the waitr made more excues,walking on laughing.people were seated and was told meal was being plated.it was disgusting.my husband and are pensioners .at 4.15 we told them we were leaving and not paying for a meal we did not have.to our shockwas from our daughter who had booked got the families meals at 5 15.they put our mealsin to contaners as a takeway.top it all chareged her £62.00 for the meals we didnt have.it spoiled our christmas day.we will never again.also will not recomend anyone to go there.
