I took my elderly parents and cousin out for lunch there yesterday! I had read excellent reviews so was looking forward to the occasion. Sadly customer service was poor, very poor. I had to keep going up to the counter to prompt all aspects of service. After finally ordering we were informed that many items were not available. In the end we had to ask what was available! The food was good when it finally came. Our table wasn’t cleared and everything seemed chaotic and disorganised. We were very cold but after asking a super chap came and lit the fire and kept it going for us! He was really helpful and noticed that my poorly Mum was still chilly and provided an electric heater - his genuine care and customer service was excellent & much appreciated. The setting is fabulous but your staff need basic customer service training please….

Came in today with the grandchildren as I thought I’d take them for lunch!! Unfortunately I found it a let down today when I usually love this place, the grand daughter’s chicken Caesar salad had 2 light hairs in which she found and it put her off. She refused to want anything else there. My grandsons meat on his plate was stone cold and the mash that went with my pie of the day was under the heaters too long as it had formed a thick skin on. Wasn’t nice at all. All our drinks got wasted cos the glasses were quite dirty and if not dirty then very old glasses as it looked very dirty. Worse 50 I ever spent. Think this time mixed with the last time I ate here has made me more inclined to go elsewhere in the future. This was horribly disgusting and barely a sorry for the hair being in the food. I come regularly in summer….. my grandsons meat daughter is 9 and refused to eat or drink anything else and I can’t blame her for that. What’s happened to this used to be lovely place ???

I took my partner here for lunch on valentine's day and what a great decision. The food, the atmosphere and the amazingly friendly staff made it an all around great experience. Massive thank you to jack and Jess who welcomed us in as if we were regular customers and been going there for years. I personally don't live anywhere near the fox inn, in fact I live about 3 hours away however if I do travel towards Worcester, I'm definitely making a detour! Thank you once again for the brilliant hospitality.

Family group here for Saturday lunch. Staff look bored and would rather be elsewhere. Ordered quiche warm. Arrived stone cold. not really difficult to get wrong is it. Baked potato full of black bits. Fresh orange was warm, not even kept in the fridge. We have been coming here for years and it has deteriorated over the last few months. Will not return, Spend your money elsewhere.
