When we arrived we were completely ignored for a minute or more whilst two bar staff spoke to a customer about how she could smuggle alcohol in her new smaller handbag. The food was good, as always. The service was non existent, no one did a check back, and we ended up going to the bar to pay as the server who cleared our plates ( as my partner was still chewing his last mouthful ),failed to reappear with our bill after a 15 minute wait. The place wasn't busy, we didn't arrive close to end of service. I'm at a loss as to why the service was so poor.

What a little gem of a place.. I enjoyed a 2 night stay here.. The staff were kind and very accommodating. The rooms were spotless, as was the toilet and shower. They stock the fridge in your room with water and fresh milk, tea and biscuits also complimentary. There is little to no cell service out here as it is quite remote however the place offers free (and fast!) WiFi which is amazing. Good quality pub food as you would expect the moment you step in to the establishment. The place absolutely gets packed at night and the parking lot is tiny. Parking can be tricky here so be aware, neat that they have EV chargers here as well. I wish there was a bit more variety for breakfast other than “full English” (which is amazing hahah)..

Cosy traditionally modern pub on the quiet edges of whuster. Hospitality: 4/5 The staff were friendly a generally what you expect fir pub standards. Our waiter miss counted how many mains my relatives were having on cod order, a - (opinion) - due to slow business, no one was fully checking for if they were needed. Side note: they need to check there dishwasher, or whoever washes spoons, or wine glasses as examples. Food: 4/5 Mixed balance of satisfied, an vice-versa. I never tried smoked salmon a wasn't disappointed with my choice. Next mains: Everyone exept 1 had cod which we all were Pudding - not everyone was inpressed: everyone else thought they didn't get enough custard with theirs a the apple crumble of someone's looked like it was defrosted. Location 4.5/5 The scenery is slightly limited; thought sometimes you take what you get in business. (If im being picky) wish there was more windows where there's less sunlight).

Came in today with the grandchildren as I thought I’d take them for lunch!! Unfortunately I found it a let down today when I usually love this place, the grand daughter’s chicken Caesar salad had 2 light hairs in which she found and it put her off. She refused to want anything else there. My grandsons meat on his plate was stone cold and the mash that went with my pie of the day was under the heaters too long as it had formed a thick skin on. Wasn’t nice at all. All our drinks got wasted cos the glasses were quite dirty and if not dirty then very old glasses as it looked very dirty. Worse 50 I ever spent. Think this time mixed with the last time I ate here has made me more inclined to go elsewhere in the future. This was horribly disgusting and barely a sorry for the hair being in the food. I come regularly in summer….. my grandsons meat daughter is 9 and refused to eat or drink anything else and I can’t blame her for that. What’s happened to this used to be lovely place ???

Beautifully presented, quality ingredients, family service veggies which I’m a big fan of. House wine didn’t taste like house wine it was definitely better quality. Price was £13 for an adult, cheaper than Toby Carvery and I think £8 for a child. We will deffo go again,

We stay at least once a year and it never disappoints. We were a party of four staying 2 nights. We had dinner Friday evening and it was absolutely outstanding. The menu has been extended in the last year. Every dish we had (and there were 8 different ones between us) was beautifully cooked and served. Service both in the restaurant and bar was excellent all weekend. Rooms are spotless, though not accessible. We've already booked for next year.

Fantstic stay. We booked The Bell Inn as an overnight B&B. We received a wam welcome from the friendly and attentive staff. Grabbed some lunch which was delicious. Tried to then go into Worcester but the bus service is virtually non-existent in the afternoons, so we contented ourselves reading in our room which was cosy, warm, quiet and comfortable. We then went down for an evening bite later on - again lovely food. The bed was firm and reasonably comfortable but we slept nevertheless. More importantly, the room was warm and quiet in spite of the rain hammering down outside. Very happy to recommend The Bell Inn at Broadheath for both an overnight stay or for the wonderful food. If we are ever coming back to Worcester, we won't hesitate to book in again. A big thank you to Lindsey (the owner) and her staff for making our stay so lovely.

Enjoyed a last min booked one night stay ( room No 4) enroute to Shrewsbury from Plymouth. Nice room , comfy bed but could hear some noise from the ‘trunking ‘ outside the bedroom window. Stopped at night so didn’t disturb sleep . Room overlooks the pub gardens - wet weather stopped seating being used so no noise. We ate dinner in the cozy dining room - very well looked after by attentive staff. Breakfast next morning was good too -sadly no pastries on offer as a problem with supplier but not a big deal for us . Caught bus from across the road into Worcester to visit the Cathedral which is a must . Would definately stay here again . Lovely pub/ hotel & staff

The Bell is an old favourite of ours as we used to live in Lower Broadheath so it was the obvious choice for my Mum’s 80th birthday lunch. There were 22 of us, seated on a long table in the skittle alley part of the pub. We’d pre-ordered our meals due to the number of people & this was a great idea. The meals came out very promptly, all at the same time, nicely presented & hot. Everyone was very complimentary about the food which was fantastic. Special mention to the staff. An absolute credit to Lyndsey & Ian, the owners. We arrived early to put balloons on tables & to make arrangements for her surprise cake. Becky was very helpful arranging everything; nothing was too much trouble & the other waitresses were brilliant dealing with so many meals & drinks. Thank you all for contributing to making my Mums birthday a very special one.

The location of the restaurant was delightful, offering a charming and welcoming atmosphere. However, the carpark was notably small for the number of covers, which made finding a parking spot somewhat challenging. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was positive and the setting added to the restaurant's appeal. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay the bill, we had to search for someone to assist us, which slightly marred the otherwise excellent service. The food itself was exceptional and very reasonably priced, especially with the lunchtime deals. I was particularly pleased to find 'Ploughman's' on the menu, as it is a dish that is not commonly available. We will certainly return when we are in the area again.

The bed was extremely comfortable and there was good space. I can imagine that in the summer the garden will be very busy, so may not be the best for those who like an early night. Dinner consisted of sticky ribs for my wife and steak for me. Well, this was simply the best steak that I have had for some considerable time. I even tried to steal a rib from my good lady, not a chance! Breakfast was served by Debs who ensured that we had what we wanted. We booked online - quick and easy We were staying locally on Saturday evening. Table for four. We were greeted by the bar staff who asked the waitress staff to show us to our table. Ordered drinks, but some were not available, so the waitress came back to amend the order. Starters and mains ordered and arrived in good time. Scallops and rice - delicious, although two scallops on the small side, so I would have expected 4 instead of 3. Nacho sharing platter, it looks messy, we had to ask for side plates as platter was between 3 so difficult to share across the table. Mains - brisket burger- good - coleslaw in thimble pot probably a table spooon size portion. If homemade I’m sure you could supply a ramekin size instead. Steak - good, served with cherry toms on vine, mushrooms and chips in a pot Bbq ribs - good, but would rather not laid on top of a portion of chips, my daughter didn't eat the chips as they were sloppy from heat and moisture from the ribs. We were given menus for dessert but after 20 mins had the go to the bar to ask to place an order, where all 3 waitresses were stood talking. Children's dessert selection is poor - not everyone wants ice cream. The waitress didn't know the difference between vanilla ice cream and mango sorbet. It was annoying that the waitressing staff kept going behind a curtain to another area near our table while we were eating. At no point were we asked if we wanted anymore drinks even when we had empty glasses when they collected main plates. You have local Airbnb hosts recommending you, I urge the management to look at staff issues.

Visited the Bell this afternoon, I ordered the belly pork, when our meals arrived , we were not offered any condiments, the food was just left, i had to go to ask for condiments. My pork was very dry, the potatoes has so much garlic in them you really could not eat them, the dish overall was not nice, I hardly are mine. When the same waitress came to remove the finished plates she asked if everything was ok with the meals ( this was the only time since the food was served that anyone asked if all was OK with the meals) I replied that my food was not good and I did not enjoy it, the waitress just removed my plate , she did not ask what the reason was for me disliking the meal she just walked away. I feel that this is not acceptable the meal was not to a standard that warranted payment, however no one came to enquire with me, the staff where rude and not professional , hence one unhappy customer that will not return.

The food was really nice. However, when we visited, we had not even reached our table and we had still got our coats on, when the waitress asked us what drinks we wanted! We had not even sat down. I did ask if they had mock tails and she did not know…… I asked for a few minutes to look at the drinks menu and we were literally given one minute before she came back and asked what drinks we wanted. The food arrived extremely quickly and the moment we had finished eating the next course was there. It was so terribly rushed and made the whole family experience quite unpleasant. Three courses took less than an hour to eat, because it was so rushed. we appreciated, it was Christmas Eve, it did not feel like the customer was put first, it definitely felt like it was more about how much money they could make in the shortest time. it was a shame because the pub interior was really pretty and the food was good, just spoilt by the lack of staff knowledge and the rushed atmosphere.

Six adults and two dogs from Sunderland, Northampton and Kent met here before heading to our canal boat holiday. We sat in the spacious garden where we could see covered and open seating, a large kids play area, and the dogs were very welcome. Nice looking village pub, rather quiet inside, but it was a Wednesday. Pleasant service taking the order. The menu is printed in comic sans - there was an interesting article by food writer Jay Rayner recently stating that this is normally not a good sign...

A great value stay with a very good breakfast included. We will definitely use it again when we pass that way.

Called in on a recommendation, we received a very warm welcome. A very comfortable environment to relax in, the menu was good and reasonably priced. Drinks very good, the food was delicious. I had the fish and chips, I have a hearty appetite and was not disappointed in any way. The service was excellent the people waiting on were attentive, polite, friendly and very welcoming. Rest rooms (a good indication of cleanliness of an establishment) were spotlessly clean. I will return to try other dishes on the menu. Thank you Plough and Harrow 👍
