The English Indian visited our dealership again, went down a treat last time so we had to get them in again, Fish and Chips went down a treat as did the Halloumi. Great service, fab staff from Jim on the fryer, the lady serving to the booking Manager. Check out their Christmas menu mmmmm thank you once again

Overall lack of direction in the restaurant, you walk in and thereâs no one to greet you nor a sign to say âwait to be seatedâ After finding a member of staff I was then told to go sit wherever I like, but she didnât tell us whether it was table service or not so again no idea what to do when seated. After heading to the bar to figure out wether itâs table service or not, im greeted by two young men with there heads down glued to there phones, when asking them what the crack was with ordering food they both looked like they didnât even know what day it was. After the awkward encounter with the bar staff I then walked to the other side of the restaurant to order food. The mixed platter for two was ÂŁ60 and comes with no sides other than some coleslaw and a few pickles which I thought was extremely over priced compared to other smoke house platters at places like hickoryâs that come with pit beans, fries, coleslaw, pickles, corn bread, gravy ect. When the food arrived the pit beans was basically a huge pot of watery gravy with barely any beans in and any meat it was essentially a watery soup with a bit of meat thrown in didnât resemble pit beans in the slightest. The burnt ends from the platter was missing, so the platter was ribs, brisket, sausage and pulled pork for ÂŁ60, no one asked if we wanted any sauces or come and asked how our meal was, overall service was very bad including the waitress and the bar staff. And to top the whole experience off they give you Wooden disposable cutlery to eat meat with? Bad experience definitely wouldnât recommend to anyone.

Had a lovely lunch at The Owl with family The food was amazing best Steak and Ale pie i have eaten...lots of steak and the meat was succulent and the sauce full of flavour. Our waiter Anthony was lovely..warm pleasant and couldnt do enough for us without being intrusive.

I visited the new Harborne (Birmingham) branch, and opted for a takeaway. We had the Wingers Feast Bowl, a side order of coleslaw, and six wings with bbq sauce. The wings were delicious, however the extra coleslaw was quite a small portion and not worth the money. The wingers feast bowl was a big disappointment. The salad - which was only rocket, and the coleslaw were both warm because the chips and chicken tenders were just dumped on top of them. I couldn't eat the chips as they were absolutely covered in chip sauce (which was really nice tbf) and what I appeared to be chilli powder. It made the chips hot and spicy - which I simply can't eat. The chicken tenders were also covered in chilli powder, which also made them too spicy for me to eat; and I'd specifically chose the garlic and parmesan sauce as I can't eat spicy food. I ended up throwing the chips and the chicken away. My advice, if you don't like spicy food, would be to specifically ask them not to put chilli powder on the food, and also ask them to go easy on the sauce as my chips were just a soggy mess. Like I said though, the wings didn't have any spice on them - just the bbq sauce, and were lovely.
