Unfortunately was not able to eat there. As did not do food on Tuesday nights dut enjoyed a couple of drinks 😊

Brilliant entertaining pub Top atmosphere

Fantastic food very helpful friendly staff

Went in last week with my son on a weekday evening, ordered a Guinness and a Vodka and coke, the girl behind the bar seemed pissed off and so was I when she charged me £15.50. The Guinness had a chemical taste, common if its not served often and the vodka was served with flat coke, no ice or lemon. There were a few regulars in who were pissed shouting along to "star trekking" playing way too loudly on a big tv. I was really dissappointed, bad atmosphere and not what I expected. I dont think I will return. This is not a dig and im not a whinger. Hope the management take my feedback as its ment

The older the service, the better. There is billiards. Small dogs are welcome. You can eat takeout here. Live music and karaoke evenings. It has stangasts.

Totally disgusted that I have been given a parking fine despite only parking to drink in the pub. I have appealed and still been charged. There should be signs on the bar and front door and staff should make you aware

Put reg in to system for parking. had a beer. A few weeks later I have received a parking fine. Called the pub to get them to sort it as this has happened a few times in the past, and the pub normally sort it straight away, no problems. The woman on the phone said to drop £20 into them and they would sort it and clear the fine! Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I appealed through the fine company and they rejected it somehow. A friend I went with has had the same issue. And I can see from recent reviews that they have had the same issue. The pub management are absolutely no help other than if you allow them to extort £20 off of you for them to do the right thing and help. Sounds like they’re working together with the parking company to get extra money out of they're customers. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be paying big fines. See you in court

Great food and great family atmosphere. Went to my nieces birthday party and had a really good time. The kids loved the bouncy castle and the adults loved the beer.

Absolutely incredible, food is unbelievable and services is even better. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Home made nachos is what I’d recommended.

Beer taste off, The food is like something you would get at a service station garage. Management are rude and Unreasonable and looked very drunk. It’s not the cleanest establishment. The toilet smell like a public toilet the Parking system is about as useful as a Chocolate tea cup, you put your registration in but still receive parking fine for £100. Very expensive night out, wont be returning snd wouldn't recommend this pub!

Was quiet when I visited on Friday about 3.00. Struck me as a warm friendly pub and was made to feel welcome.

Lovely cosy pub, always a friendly welcome from the staff, child and dog friendly with a fantastic selection of drinks and snacks, it has a massive beer garden and a lovely open fire,this is one of my favourite places to visit, it also has live music and quiz nights..Well worth a visit..or a few

Nice selection of beers. Nice beer garden and dog friendly. Staff very pleasant brought dog dish of water without being asked. Nice old fashioned pub.

Great traditional pub food. Our lockdown takeaway of pie and chips was hot, tasty and delicious. Lovely fresh homemade gravy.

Great relaxed atmosphere, landlord made us more than welcome, good choice of drinks especially Gin. The pub its self was lovely and clean and a huge garden out the back. Will definitely be going again.

Northern Soul music, with genuine lovers of the soul. Shame we couldn't stay longer, but met fantastic people, of all ages, and some proper fantastic moves. Thank you all at The Wellington for a wicked night out, hopefully with many more,.(and just for the record, people's kindness of spirit definitely draws people in. Hopefully we'll be able to stay longer next time!. X

Our favourite place for a drink in Lichfield. Great atmosphere and really friendly. Comfortable inside and when required a welcoming roaring fire. Great choice of unusual ales to try, perfect with the most amazing pizza. Always cooked perfectly with generous toppings, we love them.... Eat in or takeaway, great value. Outside an immense beer garden, both dogs and children made really welcome, so they have the ideal place to let off steam. Themed events are always great and there is a monthly quiz. The Wellington is the perfect place to meet friends and ensure you will have a great time.

The Wellington Ale House was hosting its first beer festival over the 2018 August bsnk holiday and wow! All pints of cask ale sampled (Salopian Oracle, Titanic Capacinno Stout, and Ossett White Rat) were on tip top form! The Irish folk band performing in the garden were excellent causing all to join in with the foot tapping (sober or not!).

Whent to the reggae day today good music but very badly organised people were wanting 30miutes to get served at the bar and the same at food bar in the garden and constantly waiting for the food from the bar

Fantastic Easter Sunday lunch at The Wellington. Well done Lee & Ed - both the beef and the lamb were succulent and the chocolate mousse was to die for.

Birmingham's best pub! Great choice of beers with a great outside area over the back of the pub. Bring your own food and they provide the cutlery, can't beat that!

Karen and Dave are very welcoming in the public house , they have a great array of guest ales and very friendly regulars. We frequent the Welly regularly with our 7 year old daughter. The open fire during winter is just the job to warm the cockles.
