I had a lovely room and a good night's sleep but the highlight was the lovely welcome I got from the Polish woman (I didn't get her name) when I arrived after a long tiring journey. How lovely and friendly, thank you so much, it was very much appreciated.

Comfortable and affordable and in the right place

Stopped off halfway home to break our journey and have a meal with old friends. It's about 10years since we last stayed and the place is greatly improved, Hotel side is very comfortable and the meal in the restaurant was great. Bradley looked after us and was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Lovely rooms, very friendly staff.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff memebers are hardworking and will make you feel confortable. Food is always good in here, great breakfast. Only downside was the shower was making noise and water pressure was very very low

Two night stay over weekend - two rooms - great staff - rooms let this hotel down a little - good location / parking / food

Great hotel and restaurant, with brilliant staff and excellent food. We stayed for one night to attend a family event, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They went beyond themselves to make sure the event went well, even in spite of some challenges (not of their making). The room was comfortable (room 2) and well appointed so we have a great night’s sleep after a lovely evening. The WiFi also worked well. Breakfast was nice, although not a buffet and was ordered off menu. Value wise, the price of the room (including breakfast for 2) was competitive. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Set in nice grounds 20 minutes walk from the centre of Lichfield. Although clean the room was shabby with stains and marks on the walls and therefore seemed a lot of money (with no breakfast included)

Good friendly and efficient service. Clean and comfortable room/bed/ensuite Shower facilities. Good dining experience. Hotel is looking a bit tired. Interior decorating is overdue-walls need a coat of paint , carpets are well worn.

I was staying there a couple of days before my wedding and on my day/wedding evening. It was a very private group (6 adults 2 children) and we held our reception there in their outdoor terrace area. The staff were absolutely amazing from my arrival on Wednesday to departure on Saturday. They were so friendly and tentative to any requests from helping with arranging the seating area, taking delivery of my wedding bouquets, pre order of breakfast on the morning of my wedding as we had a fairly tight schedule for leaving to go to the salon to get ready, pre ordering drinks so they were ready for when we arrived back from the registry office, they helped to make our day all the more special. The food was amazing, my little boy said the best he's ever eaten (from my very fussy little eater) that's a phenomenal compliment followed by when can we come back mommy! The settings here are fantastic and superb for photographs.

Gorgeous setting which was conveniently placed for all that Lichfield has to offer. We were personally shown to our room which is a rare and welcome touch. We had a great night sleep as the beds were super comfy. Amenities were spot on.

Loved the building, the fact that it had car parking and a restaurant. My room was lovely as were the staff
