This place is hands down one of the best fish and chip shops I’ve ever been to. From the second I walked in, I felt welcomed the owner was super friendly, chatting with customers and making sure everyone was happy. You can tell he really cares about his food and the people who walk through the door. the chips were hot, fresh, and just the right amount of crunchy and the fish was amazing. Nothing was overly greasy, and you could taste how fresh everything was. It’s clear they put effort into using good quality ingredients. On top of the amazing food, the service was incredible. The staff were so helpful and made sure I had everything I needed. If you’re craving proper fish and chips with great service and a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered carvery for delivery via Uber Eats. ONE slice of chicken and ONE slice of beef, both slices were fatty/grisly offcuts. Roast potatoes weren't crispy but cold and stale. Yorkshire pudding cold and soggy. Mashed potato hard and cold. Seemed like leftovers which were left out for hours. Never again.

Rip off new owner by the look of it. Not the best idea to rip people off

I ordered a meal and drinks and paid for them, which we enjoyed so we stayed for a while and ran up a tab. When I went to pay, I was horrified when I looked at the bill and saw we'd been charged AGAIN for what I paid for! I had to show the charge on my banking app to prove I'd already paid!

food was good but im allergic to black beans and they put black beans in(i asked for no black beans)
