What a great find on the trip home. Room for the camper in the overflow carpark. Great quiche with a tasty salad. And for a coffee drinker the coffee wasn't bad either!! Lovely friendly staff. Thanks everyone. Yes well worth a lunch stop

Nice foos ...great service and staff

Awful place, service was terrible, and the food was cold, out of tin, tables uncleared and had been there for a long time. Other visitors left after not eating their food. Drinks given in Dirty glasses. Service very very slow and they all looked stoned and very unhelpful

Had an excellent lunch at the Pelican. The menu is very extensive and very reasonably priced. There is a lunch deal which is really good value and the portions on the deal are quite substantial. I personally had the Mac and cheese with extra piri piri chicken. The chicken wasn’t just chucked on the top it was an integral part of the dish and it was quite delicious . Good beer selection as well, I had Ringwood Forty Niner. Really good.

Made the mistake of attempting to eat the fish and chips before reading all the terrible reviews that have come before. If have to say that I agree with many of the negative views, especially comments that that it was somehow almost uniformly disgusting in every way. A total waste of £19.70 for 2fish and chips. Awful.
