Lovely setting for fantastic food

So I've not been to a M&C in about 10 years and remember being amazing steak. Had a meal tonight and it was just disappointing. The starters were good, Chipotle chicken and the mushrooms, but they were better than the main and when the place prides itself on being good steak, that's not good. The steak didn't taste seasoned, I had to add salt and pepper to it. It was cooked right but just it didn't taste all that. For a £120 bill for 2 people having 3 courses and 2 drinks, I should've walked away raving about it, not going "meh."

Christmas lunch for 50 today. Exceptional food, lovely staff, cosy and gorgeously decorated. Beautiful mansion with views over lovely Somerset. Must have an impressive kitchen to achieve this level of consistency and standard. This place rivals top London restaurants for a fraction of the price. Loved it …

Lovely place with a decent range of beers lagers IPA staff friendly. Plenty of parking.

Recently, and sadly, standards have gone down, and prices have gone up. The place is cold and no longer the cosy pub it used to be. Quality of food and portion sizes have declined.

We were on the road and desperate for good coffee, and Immix came to our rescue! A little hard to find, on an industrial estate and not open every day, but friendly service and good coffee (beans also available to purchase).

We were a party of 6 plus 2 little ones. We all enjoyed the carvery which was very tasty. Good selection of veg and extras. The cauliflower cheese was the best I've tasted. The dessert was lovely too. We all had the sticky toffee pudding and ice cream....delicious. Lovely attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome. We'll definitely return
