The best restaurants in Chard Combe South Somerset South West

After wanting to visit Kinori for years, I finally had the chance in November 2024 and WOW did it live up. The food, service and atmosphere was 💯 We loved the explanation/background story at the beginning, and the fact it was just Hideki cooking, and his son serving - a true family affair. The portions and food were up there with some of the best Japanese (with a Somerset twist) food ive had. The value for money, and BYO concept is also ridiculously good value for money. Cannot wait to visit again.

We arrived a bit before opening at lunch, but we were warmly welcomed. Intended having coffee to warm up after a walk but ended up staying for lunch - delicious! Very friendly owners, warm atmosphere, plenty of parking

Great location and high standard accommodation, perfect for a weekend stay.

We began our visit with a visit to Nina's Cafe for a cream tea with sandwiches and it was fabulous - a very tasty meal with professional and friendly service. Plenty to see, just a little disappointed that we could not interact with the cats.

Big portions but no real flavour or quality. Won’t be going back.

Food was good, service excellent and super fast, it's a great place to eat alone or with lots of friends or family, highly recommend.

No idea on the food front but a pub is a pub in layman's terms. Enough said.
