The best restaurants in Gordano North Somerset South West

This is a traditional pub, full of charm. Friendly customers and staff. We had an amazing tasty lunch, great selection of drinks including our favoutite Butcombe. A hidden gem.

Excellent home made pub grub. I had the special of faggots and mash and my partner had the veggie burger. He’s usually fussy as he loves the fake meat ones the best, however he really loved this veggie burger as the veggies were lovely and it had a great crunch to it. The chips were amazing too. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was excellent, they were short staffed so one poor lady was covering multiple bases. Had asked for a table in the dining area, but not a massive issue being in the bar area aside from some whiny dogs.

A delightful experience all round. The carriage was very nostalgic, Lunch was delicious and very well priced,the staff very welcoming and friendly. A great treat before browsing the wonderful garden centre. Shall definitely return. Many thanks.

I went to this delightful pub/restaurant in Portbury, Bristol, with a friend. Our lunch was delicious, freshly cooked, and very filling. It was quite quiet, we went on a Monday afternoon. The staff, in particular Andrea, were friendly, attentive and helpful. I would happily recommend it for a quiet, weekday lunch.

The young lady was not only beautiful but happy smiley and helpful as weee the other staff and managers the food was very yummy and better quality than your local Chinese Very satisfied

Very disappointing, the standard of some food very questionable. Ordered a burger which came with all of the trimmings so presented well. However, the meat pate was inedible, it was burnt so hard it was impossible to cut with the knife supplied. That meal should not have been allowed to leave the kitchen by any cook/ chef who had reasonable standards.
