The best restaurants in Tidenham Forest of Dean South West

Visited on Sunday (I understand Sundays are a relatively new day of opening for Cafe on the Hill) with my lovely family who treated me to a birthday breakfast. This is a really pleasant establishment with friendly and helpful staff. I had vegan valley toast which was absolutely delicious and a vegan raspberry milkshake which was delightful. My Sister had veggie Wye valley breakfast which looked really nice and I will try this on ny next visit. I don’t live in the area unfortunately but I can’t wait for my next family visit so I can return here!

Love it here! The roasts are especially awesome - as good as I make at home 😄 Highly recommend!

Not just a pizza shop they are mainly a chip shop which is the menu we also order from as you can't beat a great fish and chips. Food always delivered on time and hot.

We have just moved to caldicot and had kingz burgerz twice now and both times the food has been absolutely delicious! Ordered on Saturday night messaged to order on Facebook but decided to ring them instead, can’t fault the food, service or delivery!

Cold pub with no atmosphere. Food not great ( poor meat ) Service was poor, i ordered a drink to have with my dessert but it didn’t arrive so I had to shout one of the staff to get it then by the time it came i had finished eating. Not good. I’m not in any hurry to return.

Lovely community pub, great friendly atmosphere. Stopped for a quick drink and ended up wining, eating mains and desserts. Fresh Hake with garlic prawns and chorizo on crushed new pots. Affordable Prices . Really good food and great service. Thanks guys Be back again.

Fish and chips that seemed to come straight from the freezer. The batter was then overcooked. So the food was disappointing. The place was almost empty so had no atmosphere. But that wasn’t anyone’s fault and the service was friendly and efficient.

Ordered £23 worth of food, two hours after it was suppose to be delivered the restaurant rang me and said they were running behind and would be 15 minutes, so do I want to cancel or wait another 15 mins. I said wait 15... 40 minutes later I'd had enough and rang to cancel they said ver we will cancel and give vou a full refund. Food cancelled.. a week later still no refund. Just eat refusing to do anything. Restaurant being as helpful as a chocolate teapot. So they've just taken £23 for food I didn't even get. Disgusting service to be honest. Extremely disappointed. Thieves.

The food is great and the service is outstanding. Better than Dominos💯

Had Sunday lunch and could not fault it. It was overflowing and the quality and taste excellent. Service was prompt and the price was very good. Would definitely recommend

Travelling home from a long weekend break with friends and stopped here for breakfast. Really happy we visited as it was delicious!
