Ordered two pizza last night. Both arrived upside down and cold. After about a 55 minute wait. We then attempted to eat the cold pizzas but only to found it had been absolutely coved in chillis and hot spicy and was completely inedible due to this. There was absolutely so flavour or taste to the pizzas and the dough was just soggy and wet. Really would not recommend going to this pizzeria.

An ok dinner experience was brought down by the general manager being a little too sharp with ‘jokes’, complaining about hours worked and lack of staff and being too busy, felt like we were a burden and not paying guests. Food was good, nothing out of this world. Restaurant felt a bit like a function room. View was amazing but you cant see if from the restaurant except for a few tables on one side.

15 Falmouth Road Runners ran from the Queens Arms this morning, then bundled back in for breakfast afterwards. Gary and the team looked after us splendidly! Cooked breakfasts, veggie breakfast, avo, things on toast and loads of tea & coffee. All served up by friendly and efficient staff, and no time at all. Awesome!

As we were not staying on site, I called ahead to see if we could use the facilities; such as cafe, playpark, parking etc. I was told yes, as long as we were customers of the cafe. Three women adults and 4 children. 2 under two years, and 2 over two. All aged under 5. We were the only customers in the cafe, which is quite big. We ordered teas, coffees and cakes. I thought we could have ordered lunch, being that it was after 12noon, but food was not being served until 2pm-missing the lunch time period strangely? We all sat down and began to eat. As we were the only customers in the cafe we let the children walk around a bit, sit down with us and play with some small toys to keep them occupied. We were not offered highchairs for the two youngest children, who probably would have benefited from them- we couldn't see any, so assumed that they didn't have any-our fault for not asking, but would have been nice to have been told that some were available. About 30mins after we had begun eating the chef came from the kitchen to tell off the children for being too loud and to use their indoor voices. At times, yes perhaps the children were loud, but they were not screaming or shouting, just talking loudly. Two of us are teachers and, believe me , we know what unruly behavior looks like, and this most certainly wasn't. The chef explained that she couldn't concentrate in the kitchen as the children were too loud. Please tell me how your chef concentrates when the cafe is full and full of people making noise? We adhered to her pleas to keep the children quieter. About 20mins later she comes back again to tell us that we were still too loud and that perhaps we would like to put our drinks in to takeaway cups and use the outdoors or soft play- effectively asking us to leave. I say again, we were the ONLY people in the cafe at the time, so not disturbing any other paying customers. We went to soft play for 20mins, which was nice and clean and then to the playpark, again which is nice. But never ever have we ever been asked to leave an establishment or rather made to feel that we couldn't stay because of the noise (loud talking between 2 children). On the way back to the cars we noticed that the cafe had some more customers by now who were sitting where we had been, we also noticed that our dishes had not been cleared from our table, so so the new customers had to do this themselves. I think the managers need to ensure customer service training is updated as a matter of urgency. A nice playpark/soft play and cafe-just don't take your children!
