Great selection, good prices, super friendly and helpful service. Very enjoyable tasty and fresh meal (baked potato with fillings and side salad). Handy window bar to sit and enjoy. Free parking (30mins) on road outside.

So very disappointed. I read the reviews and decided against the Highcliffe Fish n Chips shop where I live. People have also mentioned how good your food is. The chips were awful, all thin and crispy hardly any proper chips. Hardly any cod in the over cooked batter. Fish n chips is usually a treat once in a while but I don't think I will be having again for a long time.

We moved to the area about 4 years ago and we were struggling to find a decent Indian curry house, our daughters boyfriend had used the Kashmir for many years and highly recommended them,. As you can imagine we was sceptical because we had not discovered anywhere we liked in the 4 years of living near. The first time we went we ate in house, I had a King Prawn Puri starter followed by a Tandoori mixed grill. My wife requested the King Prawn Puri as a main course which they said would not be a problem and it was duly prepared and served, it was also incredible. We have been going back now regularly for takeaways as the restaurant itself is quite small and always very busy, if you want to eat in then I strongly advise you book in. My one complaint, it's costing me a fortune as I'm addicted to their food, love this place and long may they keep up their amazing quality and skills of fine Indian dining.

We went to the Kashmir for a family meal during the Christmas Holidays. The menu had a wide variety of options and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the paneer shashlik. There was a large range of vegetarian options, as most curry dishes could be served with either vegan chicken or lamb. The naans and other sundries were very tasty and the pickle tray included four sauces. We will definitely be returning to the Kashmir in the new year.

Wonderful pan Asian food at the Rising Sun, you must try every dish on offer, all are simply a delight and scrumptious. We booked unfortunately on a day that had a party in for a 40th celebration so the service was extremely slow, but we were warned by the staff and even the duty manager came to offer her apologies and offer a complimentary soft drink. Definitely a repeat visit is on the cards, a warm thanks to the duty manager for her professional approach to a very difficult and busy day for all the staff.

A cosy atmosphere, the best of the prezzos! The loviest staff with delicious food and beautiful decorations. Such a shame it is closing, it will be surely missed, has always been the one to go to for birthdays and special occasions! Thank you to Jane and all the staff.

It's such a shame to have to change this glowing review. Where once their garlic bread was king, they now offer half the amount and its the nowhere near as nice. Secondly I've told this place multiple times about errors if you order on their app or website. For example if you order a half and half pizza then you get charged for two pizzas but only get one. If you're ordering a lot then you might not notice as I did. If you want this pizza you have to phone up and then lose the 10% discount of ordering online. I don't know why they won't/can't fix it. Its a shame as this was the only place I would use locally, but now I'd rather go elsewhere.
