I’m not going to lie, I love a premier inn, they are spotlessly clean and so comfortable, but not d never eaten at one until tonight. I can get past the fact it’s all brought in prepared and pinged but for the love of God they need to season the food. Oh t wasn’t cooked well but I was hungry and not the worse crime but steak, tomato, chips, mushroom, rocket and not even a single grain of salt. No condiments on the table, no walking around allowed, no one asking if I need anything… Shame as the staff are actually very nice.
I’d rather go back to school for a meal. Very disappointing and not worth the hefty bill which is making me feel resentful l. Never again :(
Sadly, this place has gone rapidly downhill since new ownership. Orders placed on Friday and Saturday….2.5 hours later and constant phone calls….no delivery. When I eventually got through, was told the driver had a problem with his steering wheel! Been a loyal customer for over 5 years. Contact me again guys when competent individuals have taken over the ownership and day to day management. Its not worth placing an order till then.
¡Bien hecho!

One of the best places in the area.
Good food, friendly staff and a nice place to be.
As a group of six, everyone enjoyed their meals, and the service was quite fast.
Love the variety of cakes and they also have good ice cream. Coffee is fantastic and they also have some outside seating which is great for sunny days :)
The store is aesthetically pleasing, impeccably clean, and features a welcoming ambience. The staff provided friendly and efficient service. I highly recommend it.
Booked a table for me and my partner at 18:20 on the 06/04/25. I had previously been with a friend of mine, and was looking forward to bringing my girlfriend on this occasion, as I had really enjoyed it the last time. We arrive, and the place was practically empty. Not a problem to us. We were then greeted, shown to our table and asked if we would like any drinks. After receiving the drinks and having looked through the menu, we were ready to order. I ask for the following:
x1 lamb pakora starter. x1 chicken korma. x1 pilau rice. x1 chicken tikka masala. x1 coconut rice. x1 Peshawar naan.
I specifically ask the waiter if he can make sure the chicken tikka curry is made mild, as I prefer it with less spice. Not a problem I’m told. He writes it down and takes the orders to the kitchen. About 10 minutes later, he brings the first dish out. The lamb pakora looked okay at first glance, although there wasn’t much of it (literally about 5 small pieces). The lamb itself was cooked beautifully and perfectly balanced. A decent bit of fat and meat. The coating however was more like a batter that you would find on fillet of cod from the fish & chips shop instead of a pakora. Not too big of a deal, but not something I’d order again.
Next, the chicken korma comes out, followed by what looks like a coconut rice/basmati rice (even though we’d requested pilau rice for the korma). At first, I thought they might have got them mixed up, and would be bringing it out with my chicken tikka masala. This turned out to be the least of my concerns. Straight after, he brings out a chicken tikka kebab (pieces of meat on a skewer) and no rice. I immediately tell him that this wasn’t what I’d ordered, and reminded him that I’d asked for a masala and coconut rice. The look on his face was one of apathy. To avoid stressing anyone out, I tell him it’s fine. He asks if I would like my original order made up, to which I reply yes. “A couple minutes” he says. No no it’s fine, tell them to take their time I explain, I’m happy to wait.
My immediate thoughts were, how on earth would he have them make a curry up in a couple of minutes, and why would he say that thinking that it would help the situation. Lo and behold, he returns (literally about 3-4 minutes later) and brings out a curry. I could tell straight away that it was literally thrown together as quickly as possible, as a means of rectifying the issue. It looked like a watery mix of the base sauce and did not resemble a tikka masala (especially the one I’d previously had when I came with my friend). The chicken you ask? They couldn’t be bothered to make up a fresh batch, they’d literally pulled off the chunks from the skewers they’d brought out previously and tossed them in the sauce. He then says “I’ve brought you out a rice to go with it, free of charge.” when I’d literally asked for a rice to begin with… It’s as if the guy wasn’t listening at all.
Not to be deterred, I tuck in and carry on with the evening, hoping that it would at least taste decent… Wrong! It was perhaps the worst tikka masala I’d ever had, which was really disappointing considering I’d complimented the place to my partner before coming and had previously enjoyed the food.
Whilst eating, the manager comes over and asks if the food was okay. Again, not to make a fuss of things, I simply respond with a yes and a thank you. He looks down at the curry and then heads over to the main desk where he begins to ask the waiter in their native language about the food. I don’t know what was said obviously, but I heard him say the word tikka, and he did not look at all happy. The waiter responded by saying something along the lines of “It’s fine don’t worry about it.” I can only assume that he was questioned about it and thought that it would be okay as I was obviously ‘too stupid to notice.’ Wrong again…
I usually don’t make a scene with things like this, as I’m well aware mistakes happen, but it’s how you handle them and try to put them right that matters. Very disappointed.
