The best restaurants in Dun Valley Test Valley South East

What a find . Was staying nearby and went here for a meal on Sunday evening. We had a dog with us so had to sit in the bar but we didn’t mind as it had a lovely atmosphere. All the staff we dealt with were very welcoming and friendly. We had 3 courses each and every one was wonderful . Very tasty food at a reasonable price . Would highly recommend a visit .

A dream venue for unforgettable weddings! As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many venues—and Kimbridge Barn is truly something special. The setting is absolutely stunning, tucked away beside the River Test with a perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance. Whether you’re indoors under the beautiful beams or outside in the picturesque courtyard, every corner is a dream to photograph. The team here are fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and clearly passionate about making each couple’s day truly magical. On the wedding I photographed here, everything ran smoothly. I especially loved capturing the sparkler moment just outside the barn—something that meant a lot to the couple, and it turned out to be one of their favourite images. It’s easy to see why Kimbridge Barn is such a popular choice for couples wanting a relaxed yet stunning celebration. Great Sunday lunch with friends and our two dogs. Friendly and welcoming pub. We will be back soon. Good beer and super comfort food.

Booked with Gina in advance and pre-ordered our main meals, as there were 13 of us meeting for a casual cousins lunch. Everyone was very happy with their meal choices and all were served together; lovely and hot; generous portion sizes; really delicious and amazing service. Puddings were great too - loads of GF options which was particularly impressive. Thank you so much!

Sadly this pub remains closed. Some work has been done on the building but there is no indication that it will reopen soon. Best to check before travelling. The nearest pub is the Black Horse at West Tytherley which has good reviews.

Got the new double big mac mcdonalds must be going broke to be lien about a double big mac it looked like 4 slices of lunch meat I never been disappointed with mcdonalds until now they getting to to be just like toco bell that was the last straw with me im so done with mclittles
