The best restaurants serving British food in Dun Valley Test Valley South East

A group of us played skittles at the Black Horse. The buffet lunch provided for us was excellent. The skittle alley was great. The staff were welcoming, very helpful and friendly.

We booked the function room with the skittle alley for our work Christmas do. What a lovely location and a lovely space. really big room, lovely and warm. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming and we had excellent service throughout the afternoon. The buffet lunch was really fresh and tasty. All the staff said they had such a lovely time and what a find the pub was. Thank you!

Sadly this pub remains closed. Some work has been done on the building but there is no indication that it will reopen soon. Best to check before travelling. The nearest pub is the Black Horse at West Tytherley which has good reviews.
