2 lime cordial with soda water £5!! Disgusting. Not going back

A regular half way stop on our country walk. It’s only a small venue but they have outside seating at the front and further outside seating in the garden in warmer weather. Can highly recommend the homemade scones, The cheese ones are served with a delicious chutney.

Excellent food and service! Very nice chips and lasagne. Fish and chip portion huge!! Lovely friendly atmosphere. Fast service and waitress nice and friendly. Highly recommend. Definitely will return

Visited for the first time today. Booked over the phone, super easy. Two orders of burgers and chiis, huge plate of food, all good. Steak and kidney pie, not bad. Vegetarian lasagne, rubbish. I’ve bought better ready meals. All the same price. The lasagne had no veg, just tomato sauce and lots of white sauce, garlic bread too dry to eat. Brake brothers have delivered better. It was worth half the price of the burgers. For four of us it was over £90, soft drinks only. We visited after seeing reviews. We waited a long time for our food, no one updated us on waiting times. Table behind us had a dog that barked for nearly two hours on and off. Could do better?

This is a very cosy, delightful cafe. The food and beverages were tasty. The homemade coffee and walnut cake was particularly lush. The service was quick by friendly staff.

Nice pub & friendly staff but the Xmas meal was poor for £28. Hardly any turkey, loads of spuds & a few veg but very lack lustre meal. Would not recommend.
