The best restaurants in West Downs Swale South East

Spent a Saturday afternoon in December in this lovely pub. Had a Xmas meal with the family. Staff, service, and food were exceptional.

This is the 3rd year we have been for Christmas day lunch, and every year the food and service has been absolutely great, this year the food was exceptional. One of the tastiest I have had in a restaurant. Plenty of it and everything cooked to perfection. The service as usual was great, attentive but not over the top. I highly recommend The Sun Inn for Christmas day lunch or any other time of year. The food is always great.

I found this online as I wanted to take my Mum for tea and cake somewhere, so off we went. After quite a search (using SatNav) we eventually found it. It’s exactly as we’d hoped - warm and cosy, excellent staff, delicious cakes and a really good pot of tea. Definitely glad we persevered and we will go again for sure. Lovely 👌

Nice pub & friendly staff but the Xmas meal was poor for £28. Hardly any turkey, loads of spuds & a few veg but very lack lustre meal. Would not recommend.
