25th December, Christmas Day meal - absolutely AMAZING IN EVERY WAY. We had booked for the dinner (carvery) for us and friends. From the moment we walked in the door to leaving many hours later, we had a fantastic time. The staff were so welcoming, smiling and organised. Our previously chosen food courses arrived on time and all the food was perfectly cooked, hot and delicious. I seriously couldn't have cooked a meal as good as we had - the roasties, meat, vegetables, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. Staffing was spot on and yet nothing seemed rushed and we enjoyed our meal immensely without feeling any pressure on us to leave (to possibly allow other guests to take our table). Won't hesitate to recommend and would do this again.

4 adults and two children in the pod for afternoon tea yesterday. Confusion prior to us getting there as they left a message on my phone about the booking but when I rang back the answerphone was full, so I left 2 messages with Louise in the shop, and emailed but no one confirmed back to me. We got there and front of staff were unaware of our attempts to reply. Eventually sorted, but then waited for ages for drinks, having to go in to find out where they were to be told they'd had a problem! No communication to us again. Overall, expensive, and poor service but food was good.

We didnāt book, just asked if they had a table free and were shown to a table in their bright and open restaurant area. It is, however, suggested that if going for something more (lunch, afternoon tea, etc) that a reservation is made in advance to ensure you get a table. The establishment is fairly easy to find being just of the road through Oad Street itself and has plenty of free parking. The exterior of the buildings hides a modern open well light interior courtyard complete with heated winter igloos (complete with their own music) and entrances to the Restaurant, offering breakfasts, brunch, lunches and afternoon teas, and Craft Shop. Their Brunch menu was good, not overly extensive and our order was taken by a friendly and informative waitress, though there is a fast-food style QR ordering system available for those who wish to use it and have a āsmart phoneā! The food ordered was apparently made on the premises and featured seasonal and local ingredients where possible and we considered it to be of good quality, well-presented and with decent portion being served. The Craft Shop itself offers reginal family business handmade crafts, homeware, gifts and includes a picture and bespoke framing service. In addition, just for the lead up to Christmas, there were various speciality businesses set up (in adjacent Iso Containers) offering various festive treats. I have no hesitation in recommending the Restaurant and would use it again should we be in the area and consided it good value for money.
