Great owner who was very kind and hospitable when my car broke down in front of his shop. Offered me a soft drink whilst I was waiting for a mechanic to come. Many thanks 🙏

6 people for Sunday lunch at the weekend and everyone commented on how good the food was. Lean beef, crispy potatoes and a good selection of fresh vegetables perfectly cooked. Service was also first class and all for £13!! Will be back again soon!

We went out as a couple and wanted good comfort food, The tudor rose definitely delivered I had the steak pudding it was delicious my wife had the lamb couldn't fault anything friendly staff great place food excellent 😋

Had a fantastic lunch here. Some different options on the menu and I initially thought it looked a little expensive but the portions are very generous, freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly, nice atmosphere, great coffee and actually I think it's good value for what you get.

I haven't visited Oad Street for quite a few years. It used to be a rather old fashioned tea room but it has been completely renovated with a very different style of menu/food selection and wonderful light, airy, modern restaurant. My friend and I had booked for an afternoon tea. The selection of sandwiches, savoury pastries and cakes / desserts was wonderfully different from a usual afternoon tea. All the food was very freshly home made. The sausage roll, mini quiches & cheese sticks were all delicious. With the sandwiches and fantastic scones, we were full before we reached the cakes! The restaurant overall has a very friendly atmosphere. The servers are so attentive and polite and offered a box to take the remaining cakes home in. We definitely will return - perhaps booking an outside pod next time!

Open mic night is a great monthly occasion allowing local musicians of all ages to showcase their talents. Great atmosphere

Out of the way location, but worth the drive. Quirky, rustic venue, lovely friendly staff and very good Greek food, huge portions. We will be back.
