Absolutely brilliant - when Boris and COVID put pay to our wedding reception, in stepped Danny and his team. Not only was the food super, nothing was too much trouble and Danny himself made sure we were made to feel special. I can’t praise these guys high enough - a massive thank you and we look forward to using you again.

A greasy-haired person, eventually, came over to serve me. Standing in front of me, rubbing his hand through his greasy hair. "No, thank you." I walked out.

Absolutely disgusting food in every way, portions were tiny, some food was burnt some undercooked and all was very pricey, £15 for a burger that didn’t even come near to a macdonalds standard. Nearly everything looked and tasted like it had been microwaved..

NOT TO BE TRUSTED I booked the Miners Arm’s function room at the end of September. They let it slip in mid November that they had another Birthday party booked on the same night in the bar area. I questioned them at the time as to whether they could cope, they assured me they could. Then 3 days before Christmas they cancelled my booking!!!Initially claiming they hadn’t realised they had double booked which wasn’t true, as they told me themselves in November about the other booking. Once this was pointed out to them, their attitude changed to, “they could do what they liked” - their words! If they had told me in November at least I could have re-arranged things but to be told 3 days before Christmas Day was extremely stressful trying to find a new venue for 80 guests! So this is to warn anyone who is planning an event at this venue, please save yourself the stress and book elsewhere!
