Amazingly fresh, home cooked food! Beautiful setting. Friendly, polite staff, what’s not to like?! Look forward to next visit!

Lovely place. A large group of us had lunch at the Plough, we pre ordered food and the service and food were excellent, no long waits for the food! Thankyou Liam and team.

I visited on Thursday night 16th Jan. The restaurant is charming, warmly lit and cozy. The staff seem genuinely happy and welcoming. I’d eat there again as the dishes were tasty and generously portioned. There is a huge selection of dishes on the menu so I look forward to returning

This was a real treat, 12 of us enjoyed a pre Christmas meal. Beautifully cooked food, lovely atmosphere.

We visit the garden center and cafe regularly. We have always been happy with our food at the cafe. We think maybe cakes a bit pricey. Our suggestion to improve services would be: When food orders are placed, forward them to the chef immediately rather than wait until coffees/drinks are made then payment made. We find we have finished our drinks long before our food arrives. We often see the chef is stood waiting to cook. This would also reduce the queue at the till. We may occasionally want a second drink but the queue is then so long we don't wait. We often see customers walk away because of the length of queue and time taken in being served. Is there a way additional drinks could be ordered without rejoining the main queue for food? We understand things like this are not always easy to implement but we feel would boost sales and positive reviews. We'll be back soon regardless.
