Fabulous afternoon tea, in a recently refurbished room, beautifully decorated in lilac and silver. Ian was our host, and nothing was too much trouble! Sandwiches were really fresh and tasty, scones - plain and fruit - were warm and delicious. some small patisserie cakes too! Tea was topped up regularly, and boxes handed out if you couldn't eat it all! Would thoroughly recommend. Ian was a ⭐

We decided to have a quick treat and were very happy with the service and especially the Chocolate Brownies prepared by the Pastry Chef, Sarah. I loved the rich chocolate delights. Definitely be back for more! Thank you Danka for the recommendation

Food was very average, service poor and ambience average. Prices were extortionate. Two mains, one started, bottled of white wine and glass of red came to £160.31. Mark up on wine was ridiculous - £50 for a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and £17.50 for a glass of house red. Goats cheese starter £14. Side of fries £7. We will not be returning.

Sean, Ness and their team looked after our group of 13 couples superbly. We had exclusive use of the garden marquee for 3 hours from 1pm on a Saturday afternoon. No deposit or pre-ordering required, we just ordered from the regular pub menu. Good food served efficiently in a cheerful manner.

Loved this pub, amazing food and good people. There are only two pubs here and we felt safe there as we do not go out in Burnham town as it’s too dangerous. So yes we where all sad when they shut down, to only sell it and now are applying to change it into a place of religious practice but there are no locals here that practice religion so it’s a bit odd. Anyways we will miss you Jolly Woodman.
