The best restaurants in Lewes South East

This is the worst pub in Seaford, in fact I would go as far as to say it’s the worst pub in East Sussex! The land lady is rude and arrogant! Only go in this pub if you like getting really drunk with a load of yobs and want to buy drugs. If so this is the pub for you!

Food sat in ‘quality control’ for half an hour before going out for delivery so was cold on arrival, pizza was also undercooked. When I tried to call to complain there was no answer, after 20 mins of back to back calls I gave up and had to drive to the store to complain and get a refund. Staff were unhelpful and didn’t really see what had happened as an issue, said they don’t answer the phones at the moment because they’re short staffed.

As I was detained for a few hours, due to my scooter breaking down, I was pleasantly surprised & pleased that a young lady member of staff, offered coffee &use of phone charger , if needed. Such kindness is so appreciated, and I am grateful. Unfortunately the name of this person escaped me , but I can say she rode a motorcycle, and her shift was on the Sunday afternoon of the August bank holiday weekend .

Over priced for a Tub that was half full, pasta was undercooked, ordered the carbonara but there was about 2 bits of pancetta in it, worst take away I’ve ever had.

I ordered a Meal Deal Delivery for our Eurovision Party. Having ordered Garlic Dippers I received Garlic Bread instead. The next day I wrote and complained. 9.30pm (Sunday) they rang and woke Me and my Wife up! They asked me to supply Photos of the Boxes so I sent them along with a stock photo of what they had sent by mistake. I then received an unsigned email accusing me of lying! No apology just an accusation. I emailed again and this was their reply.. Hello, It has been decided that as we cannot meet your expectations, we will not longer be able to serve you. Kind Regards If Seaford Dominoes make a mistake with your order do not expect an apology from them. You can expect to be banned though! Terrible service.

Pulled up in one of the waiting bays and ordered. After an hour waiting in the car with 3 kids (3 hungry kids) my husband went into the restaurant to find out what was happening. They gave him our food but luckily he checked it and it was missing 3 burgers! He then brought it out and I noticed a drink was missing too. The food was cold and there was hardly any chips even in large ones. My cheese burger was just a plain burger in a bun, no cheese, no sauce or anything and my tea was cold. Wont be going there again!

Be careful when you order from Lewes Dominos... Apparently they are not allowed to open your gate to deliver a pizza I ordered The app said delivered I waited 10 min Was told my doorbell didn't work and they were on their way back I waited on the pavement For another 15 min And called again Was told he should be with me 10 min later he arrived I asked why he said bell didn't work Apparently he couldn't open my gate !!!!! I called for refund for stone cold pizzas They said they'd deliver again Pointless - it was in microwave ALSO TOLD ME THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO OPEN GATES ... I await the promised discount (they can't refund the £40) next time I order You couldn’t make this crap up!.

Having read the previous excellent good reviews it appears we must have called on an off day. Having ordered their roasted tomato soup topped with pesto, when it arrived it was as though the kitchen had opened a tin of tomatoes and processed through a blender. Very disappointing!
