Best Fish and Chips,/ Chicken in fact all food. Normally cooked to order, always hot and delicious, staff are helpful and polite, prices are keen. Definitely recommend to anyone, 5 stars

Good food, served fast and well. Bit put off by the weird conspiracy newspaper they had in there, the light. Had a quick flick through and was a bit put off by it saying that COVID-19 was a hoax and man-made global warming was disproven. The food was great, staff friendly and efficient. Could do with getting rid of the weird newspaper and maybe going for something like the Surrey advertiser or the metro. I can see this has been raised before in reviews. If I were the owner I'd probably have got rid of the newspaper, as it's definitely going to make me and some others think twice about coming back.

Just had a delicious meal served with a very genuine smile. Always find the food and service at the Red Rose is excellent. Couldn’t fault it. Btw they are now licensed again. Please note - this review is very old and the New Rose has responded. The review was for the Red Rose. Not sure the review is useful now.

Food was very nice and arrived in good condition. The only bad thing I have to say was about the duck dish as it was extremely fatty and not enjoyable.

This place has turned itself around with the new management. Great vibe, friendly staff, live music and DJ's every week. Absolute sun-trap of a beer garden next to the river in the summer and a roaring fireplace in the winter. It's not my local but well worth the trip out of town.

Used to be so much better, now even though they seem to have more staff behind the counter at any time than customers in front, the stock is not filled up until a sandwich artist shouts for more. The staff mumble and if you are not a frequent visitor have no clue what they may be saying. Cheese and toasted is 3 separate words please use them. They dont make the sandwiches with anything approaching care now. Makes me feel like I am inconveniencing them by asking for food. The cashier seemed rather annoyed when I scanned my qr code and it changed the price as I used some points.
