We followed all the great reviews and decided to visit Vital ingredients for some Caribbean food . Guys give it a go , you won’t regret it . I had oxtails and my family went for jerk chicken . The portions were really generous and the food super yummy . Great hospitality and friendly staff . We don’t live in the area and they all made us feel so welcome and to top it up the price was really good . Many thanks to all of you . Keep up the good quality . Hannah

Easily my favourite bar ever. JYD is a diamond in the rough. Exuding effortless cool they host stunning music, performance, serve great food and have an amazingly friendly, cosy environment. There is always something amazing happening there, be it art exhibitions, crazy game nights, comedy, music, spoken word and so much more. The staff are knowledgable, helpful and superbly cool. Reminds me of a time before corporate consistency and money ruined all character and charm. The coolest place to meet or chill at any time of day.

A great spot for brunch, really tasty vegan options. Big portions and good value for money. It is a LGBTQIA+ safe space but is inclusive for everyone. Really friendly staff, gorgeous cocktails. 10/10. Highly reccomend

Mi marido y yo nos encontramos con este lugar mientras buscabamos un lugar para comer un lunes por la noche en una estancia de una noche en Brighton y no nos decepcionó. El lugar es como ningún otro. ¡Es completamente brillante! El interior es una mezcla de Nueva Orleans / vudú / casa encantada. ¡Es increíble! El personal era tan acogedor, amable y atento. La comida era una mezcla real y era difícil de decidir. Le pedí un consejo y terminamos eligiendo el más delicioso guiso de ternera con albóndigas y otro guiso servido en una mazorca entera de pan. Las porciones son enormes y era absolutamente divino! Este lugar es tan peculiar, y diferente y la comida y el personal realmente lo hacen una experiencia tan fabulosa.
