The best restaurants in Central Hove Brighton and Hove South East

Read the reviews and was a bit dubious given the unassuming frontage, but the vegan paella was superb - really full of flavour. I was sad when it was finished! Will definitely come again.

Lovely Coffee shop, came after a long walk, had a Latte and a piece of cake both very tasty, great service and good value

Been with friends here at this Amazing cocktail bar in Hove center ,very warm atmosphere and delicious food,amazing cocktail best gin tonic ever had! staff really polite and helpful ,nice music .very professional bartenders and especially the manger always taking care about costumers. I definitely recommend this place will be back soon💯💯💯

I wanted to treat my Vegan Daughter for a light lunch and she suggested we try this little place tucked away in a side street in Hove. I'm not a vegan but definitely a Thai and can only say what delicious food we had. The taste is 101 % Thai home-cooked with a special mention to the Papaya Salad ( Som Tam ). So good, so moreish. Give me more !! Won't be long before I'm back there again to try the rest of the menu and the Special dishes of the day.

Lovely little cafe. Great atmosphere and brilliant service. Highly recommend the breakfast. Fresh ingredients, made on site and perfectly cooked. Couldn't fault our experience!

We had a wonderful meal here from Nick who runs Kab, a Thai supper club inspired by Northern Thai cuisine and his experiences in the area. As someone who has grown up in Southeast Asia the flavours on show I feel were highly authentic, punchy and most importantly, absolutely delicious. The wines and drinks available were ample and paired well. Another highlight was eating at the communal dining table and ultimately making friends with everyone over delicious food and drink. Overall a very fairly priced, authentic, unique and delicious dining experience. Definitely a hidden gem in the Brighton and Hove dining scene and well worth a detour!

Bought a cake for work colleagues, we could not believe how light and amazing it tasted. It was not sickly sweet, just a lovely taste and texture with fresh cream. We all agreed that we could not remember tasting a better cake. Will definitely in future get birthday and special occasion cakes here rather than supermarkets.

The runaway success Lickle More in Hove now has an outlet in Brighton. Same menu, tastes almost exactly the same. Their Curry Goat tastes great and it is obviously home cooked with real ingredients (no bad food reaction whatsoever and I'm very sensitive to processed food and junk ingredients.). They are located on the first floor inside Castle Street Snooker & Sports Bar. Ask the friendly guys at the front desk if you can't find your way. Primarily a takeaway place but you can eat on site as well (at a higher price).

Delicious food, brilliant service and great character. A perfect break from our shopping trip, it was like finding a little traditional restaurant hidden in an Italian village. We’re so spoilt for choice with places to eat in this area, that it’s wonderful to discover a hidden gem that stands out from the rest! We will definitely be back again!!!

Brighton has a lot of good restaurants but this is head and shoulders above anything else. Probably the best we’ve ever eaten anywhere including Michelin stars. Service is fantastic- friendly and attentive without being intrusive. It was hard to pick a favourite dish because they were all so good

CANNOT RATE THESE GUYS HIGHLY ENOUGH! We were lucky enough to have Big Slice cater for our wedding party and every single guest was overwhelmed by how good the pizza was! Nothing but great things to say. Great variety and service and such delicious pizza. I've woken up this morning with a pretty bad hangover and was thrilled to see left over pizza in the fridge. Tastes as good for breakfast as it did for dinner!
