Lovely landlady. Very friendly and attentive. Welcomed us like old friends. Our Roast dinner of Beef was absolutely flavoursome and good portions of meat and seasonal vegetables. Roy the barman , was also very friendly and helpful . I highly recommend the Fisherman's Arms, if you are looking for a pub, with the ambience of home, good food and drink, this is the pub for you.
Ha sido mi lugar favorito para el almuerzo en Brighton durante años. Todo lo que he comido aquí ha sido fantástico y en ningún otro lugar que conozco hace tan buena comida por tan buena relación calidad-precio.
My partner and I went here for some lunch, we had toasted sandwiches and the best bowl of proper chips to share. I am writing this review not just for the good food, lovely homely atmosphere but also for the friendly service. My partner paid by cash and he paid and we got up to leave and walk out and the owner a lovely gentleman stopped us just before we walked out of the front door and gave my partner back a £20.00 note explaining that when he paid two £20.00 notes were stuck together. Such honets service which you wouldn't always get everywhere. Thank you and we will be back for your lovely food and genuine service.
We came here for my birthday lunch and were blown away by the quality of food, friendly staff, price and overall feel of the place. We did the lunch deal and we were so impressed with how much you got for the price. Our server was so lovely and attentive, and made me feel really special on my birthday. It has the feel of much more expensive Japanese restaurants in London and is a real asset to Oxted.
Cannot recommend this place more and we're already planning when we'll be coming back!
Very nicely decorated and good mood lighting. Waiter was attentive and polite. Food arrived promptly and was hot and very tasty. We were the only couple in the place so we had their full attention! Prices were what you'd expect from a seaside resort. £70 for 2 meals , poppadoms, nan breads and a round of drinks.
Next time we're visiting Leysdown we'll definitely book again.
Great atmosphere complete with fab Halloween decorations. Superb menu with some delightful home made additions. Good attention to allergens, strongly recommended if you have any of these. Best of all? Stunning food, even the grandson was happy, rare 😎
Whilst touring around we stopped here for lunch and so glad we did. A very pleasant cafe, lovely people running it , great food. The first thing you notice is how well kept and clean this place is. Secondly it’s difficult to choose from the varied menu, so many favourites.!
So pleased I chose the sausage and mash. Never thought I’d rave about sausage & mash but it was lovely.
Everything is cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients.
Well worth a visit. If I lived nearby I’d be eating there regularly
This restaurant was lovely. We happened upon it whilst walking down the main shopping street in Windsor. The owner is Italian and took the time to chat to us. It is obvious he takes great pride in his restaurant and the food that is served there. We had a pizza- plenty to share between 2 - and ribs and then had baked cheesecake and warm apple crumble for dessert. All obviously homemade. Would highly recommend!
