We went as a family group on Christmas Day (4 children and 6 adults). I couldn't fault anything, from the table layout to the quality of food and service everthing was perfect. We will definitely go again.

I love going, staff are all lovely and make you feel so welcome. The food is always excellent. I took a friend for dinner as it was her birthday and she likes Thornton Lodge. Plus I had a voucher, ( 2 mains for £20)

Mags superb barmaid, food always good and the place is class, great spot for a beer and pub lunch is always good get yourself down

I bought my two little grandsons a bubblegum ice cream and think you should check what is going into the ice cream as the colour was still strong after two days. I know many people don’t care but I am against anything unnatural going in children’s food please research

Went in today ( 07/01/24 ) with a friend for something to eat and before we had finished our meals had the shock of seeing mice running around the place coming from the direction of the kitchens. Something of an health and safety issue I would think and a food standards red flag. Wonder if the same is happening in the other venues next door and across the road under the same ownership. Apparently the same issue happened earlier in the day and they obviously didn't think of closing until the problem was sorted.

i bought a sandwich from them and it had hairy in it when confronted to complain they laughed in my face and told me to stop f****k moaning
