The best restaurants in Pharos Wyre North West

Saw this cafe on trip advisor. Great reviews so thought we would give it a try. Had 2 pensioner specials. Fish chips and peas for hubby and liver and onions for myself. OMG I was in vegetable heaven. Liver cooked to perfection and good selection of vegetables. Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips. Service excellent. Definitely return.

Went here for our Xmas lunch......fabulous!! Staff were very attentive, food was excellent and the atmosphere perfect. Everything was catered for. Holly and her team did an amazing job of looking after us We had so much food. Very tasty and I can honestly say they excelled. Holly could provide half the amount of food and charge the same if not more.....can't honestly see how the business profited as the food was of very good quality. Holly bare this in mind For future events. You deserve to earn a good living from your cafe

We stopped for a quick coffee and left very full. Service was friendly and quick - surprising choice of galettes, crepes and sandwiches. Licensed bar also - food was excellent and great value. Dog friendly outside

Absolutely gorgeous mouthwatering food- we had the mixed kebab which was huge and so tasty- you would never know for one minute that it was purely vegetarian- absolutely spot on!! 👏👏👌

Excellent friendly reasonable prices spotlessly clean and warm what more do you want. Can't praise highly enough and would recommend to everyone. We wish Mcdevitts all the good fortune they deserve

The food was quite nice and was cooked very quick. Staff were friendly and it's interesting that you can bring your own beer. They serve all food in non recyclable takeout boxes which is strange if your dining inside. Surely they should use plates to be environmentally friendly. The seating available is uncomfortable metal chairs. Staff claim they have no toilet for customers but this is a lie as they used to let you use it but have now made it staff only. So if your eating in here they have no bathroom facilities. They also ignore Facebook enquiries which is rude. Overall wouldn't go back

Great food, excellent staff who looked happy to be there and couldn’t help enough. Our group had a selection of meat and fish dishes, all of which were delicious. The service was efficient and friendly at all times, I would definitely recommend.

Great food. Staff are great You get alot of food for your money

Just went today for an Easter lunch best decision! We ordered two regular fish and chips both were freshly cooked and piping hot. The portions were more than enough and me and the wife struggled to finish our meal. Absolutely recommend going to this chippy if you’re in town.

What an extensive menu and a huge range of books - you can even get a cream tea! Fab place.

The Sunday roast dinner is amazing, loads of beef, real home made gravy, fantastic roast potatoes. All at a reasonable price. It's a small place with few frills, but it's cheap and the staff are friendly and efficient.

Maybe this place wouldn't be complaining of reduced footfall customers if they didn't turn customers away so readily. They only want cash paying customers, not ones paying by card. By the time you've walked to a cash machine, you're nearer the better chippies anyway. There can't be many valid reasons these days why a business would wish to remain cash only.
