Went for dinner with family and I must say this is our next place to go to. Very authentic and tasty. Service was amazing. Will be back soon.

I often visit The Poachers and am always genuinely impressed. The food is delicious – hearty portions, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. It’s not often you find pub grub this good at such great value for money. Whether you're after a classic pie, a curry, or something a bit lighter, there’s something for everyone, and it won’t break the bank. If you're local (or even just passing through), I highly recommend heading down on a Wednesday night for the quiz. It’s brilliant fun – well-organised, engaging, and with a great atmosphere. It costs just £2 per device to play, and there's even a chance to earn extra points with a selfie challenge, which adds a bit of cheeky fun to the night. Plus, the wine deals and curry + drink offer are well worth taking advantage of. A proper pub with a warm welcome, top-notch food, and cracking midweek entertainment.

A traditional small North of England neighbourhood caff. Good honest grub cooked in front of you. No fancy frills just the one that is most important, the very friendly atmosphere. Had breakfast there on three occasions and very impressed with each. All three breakfasts were good quality and of a size to more than adequately fill most. The small cooked breakfast I would call large and there were other size,s the largest being bin lid!!

Came across this place when my local team played Bamber Bridge FC and was mightily impressed. The fish and chips were beautiful!

Hab breakfast here 12.8 24 was good value and tasted good and belive me I have my own cafe so no what a breakfast should be like nice friendly staff .

The food was quick to arrive and tasty as usual however the drink was forgotton. The delivery person said he didnt know if his manager would let him bring it back and then left which is ridiculous. We called the restaurnt and they said they would send it out to us. We had to call twice and 40 more minutes passed after receiving our food. Was willing to let it slide but the way they knocked on our door was loud and agressive which startled me and my family as it was 10 o clock at night. Service needs to be better and servers need to be told not to try and knock holes through doors.
