The best restaurants in Church Sefton North West

What a little gem of a place ! Really nice atmosphere , staff are great , And the food is so tasty I’ll definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu !

Been a few times and they must have a door open in the kitchen..there's an icy draught flying through..freezing cold...I'll be putting 3 pairs of jeans on next time I go.

I love it here..from the quieter daytimes to the excellent open mic and live bands..newly refurbished toilets are a welcome bonus

After a wonderful walk with my two sisters we took to this place which is easily my favourite spot on South Road... Love the style of the place, the people are very friendly and hospitable - the coffee, hot chocolate, and tuna cheese melts where all fab. Well done and keep up the great work! Particularly liked the humorous message in the powder room regarding the delicate toilet.

Excellent Sunday lunch at Royal Hotel Waterloo Great value very well presented congratulations to chef. Well trained and efficient staff Lovely Liz served us Would reccomend Royal for Sunday lunch.

Called in for early evening meal at 4pm to be told they don't serve food until 5pm. Had a look at menu however, very expensive for standard pub food plus, you had to pay extra for things like naan bread that you normally get with meal. Finished drink and left.

Apart from one nice woman who works there was given snotty looks then because I was driving was told I have to leave if not ordering another drink, I said I’ll have a water please and was told no just leave . Considering 3 of my friends where still drinking who I was sat with it seemed a bit desperate to tell me I needed to buy alcohol even though I told them I couldn’t because I was driving. ‘Not my problem love’ is what the woman who I believe was the land lady said to me , won’t be returning again unless to use the toilet 😊

Another lovely meal from Arong. We ordered our meal on valentines night, but we order from here regularly. The meal was amazing as always but i noticed the meals were in the smaller containers!! The ones they use for the rice. I dont know why this was as the price was the same as usual.This happened with another takeaway i used to buy from so i dont use them anymore. Hopefully there was a good reason as we love this place!!

The restaurant is shut! 18 of June! Went last night and the shutters were down bloke next door said it’s been shut for 3 weeks. Don’t understand how I booked a week ago.

Disgusting finally closed permanently not surprised

Me and my mum were feeling hungry so I said to my mum to search up some noodle bars.Chews was the 1st to come up so we went. I was not surprised when out of the kitchen came mouth wateringly good Singapore noodles. My mums pad Thai was delicious too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤!!

Great pub, we had a wedding there on Friday and the staff was great the vibe was ace and we enjoyed the warm welcome. It was good value and an excellent place. Thank you

The last time I'll get a takeaway from here. This has been my fave Indian for years. I paid just over £14 for a makonhwalla, 1 poppadom and chutney tray (no rice). This was with the discount aswell. Portion sizes have gone a lot smaller. Second time now the tray has been half full of sauce and only a few pieces of chicken. The poppadom was half a poppadom an broken up. Noticed a price increase recently but accepted due it their meals being amazing. But last night's takeaway took the rip. There was a time trays were full to the brim and they'd give you a freebie of some sort which wasnt expected but appreciated. Such a disappointment as I always recommend this place because of their restaurant quality food. Start giving people what they pay for or continue to lose loyal customers.
